100% agree, he was brought in as a centre forward, but is nowhere near up to that job. We've found a position for him on the left side of an attacking midfield, and he's done a job there, where he can collect the ball in space and run at sides without the opposition centre half dominating...

He's dropped because we need goals, and so far he's only scored in 1 game. And as you correctly pointed out, he's wasn't at his best at Sunderland, so doesn't justify a start ahead of our top scorer.

Agreed, I see absolutely nothing in his game that makes me think he will become the player that we need. He is young though, so has time to turn things round, but imo, he doesn't deserve a place in the match day squad at this point in time. I'm hopeful of another striker coming in next month.
