    Pick your Sky Blues 11.....

Who's that? If you mean Kyle & Hickman, Kyle played for Scotland (10 times to be exact so I imagine Hickman calls him 10 caps))

Was always going to be difficult sweeping that under the carpet.....

    Jordan Ponticelli

If there's one thing he definitely has done it's score consistently progressing through the ranks. His deficiencies are more in his all-round game. I'd hope at that level he'll be playing regularly and bagging himself a few goals. Fact its men's football so a progression on his development thus...

    Christiano ronaldo

No way. Ronaldo is definitely more all-round. Think it's all the pies since he retired......

So are you saying Morse and Lewis got a go on Billie Piper first? All of them a step up on Chris Evans though I guess.

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Birmingham City Match Thread - Saturday 25th Jan

We do need to consider they're a division higher and so may be able to press up better than teams in L1, which could result in mistakes. Also have that horrible feeling of big crowd, team goes into it's shell, we play terribly. Could even be another Crewe game where dominate but end up getting...

That's given me some unpleasant flashbacks to lectures and exams. It would've been nice as part of my course to be able to spend a day observing a trading floor because you can do the theory, strategies, equations etc all you like but the reality in the workplace is often quite different. I...

Once again a nervy ending and maybe a bit lucky at times but I'll take those 3 points any day of the week. Well played boys. McCallum seemed to get very nervy towards the end.

Never understood why U23 get given a 1-11 cos players of different sizes can play at the same number - must use up a lot of shirts. As those in U23 are most likely to have a squad number why not have them play in their normal squad number/name shirt? Always the right size then.

Strong team, strong bench. Hope O'Hare can use the start to make the impact he did last game rather than many of his other starts. Still think we're going to find this a tough game, but one we're capable of winning

    Top of the heap

I'm gonna say no. We seem better having to chase and get complacent when we hit the top spot and go on a bad run.

4th Round vs Birmingham - "thank you" banner

I agree. Pre-match message which we can give a quick round of applause with, then back to the game and 'bantz'. I think there'll be a lot of good natured back and forth during the game and I just hope the Stone Island troglodytes don't create any aggro.

Hence why I put bet in inverted commas - it's analogous because it's people guessing what will happen in the future and putting money on it but it's not entirely the same. I agree about the lack of legislation but we hear people in the industry talk about self/de regulation. Those regulations...

Beauty of that is we can respond with "you're grounds too big for us"

That's my preference but it could be "Who's supposed to be at home"? Lets them join in as well then.

I'm not saying that they are 'deliberately' engineered - profiting from growth is far more preferable as it looks better for them as others also benefit. But some will take risks on higher growth/profit than are necessary at times, which from the outset is clearly unsustainable and when that...

I've got a degree in accounts and economics ;) It's all about when it no longer can be sustained for higher gain - similar to how a pyramid scheme works but with a bit more oversight. 2008 crash was when the subprime mortgages could no longer be kept up, packaging and selling them off was also...

4th Round FA Cup Replays may be scrapped

I've got no problem with all cup replays being dropped frankly. However, due to the potential loss of a money spinning replay if a team in a lower division is drawn at home, they should have the choice to either take the home fixture or move it to the larger ground of their opponent but be...

In this 'man of the people' regard Jess Phillips is the complete opposite and most likely to show him up, but as you say it never seems to matter - people just get taken in by it. I think Starmer is probably the most capable but would it be a waste of his abilities to make him leader now when...
