The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

I wasn't going on what others have said - I'm going on what previous experiences strongly suggest will happen. It was the poster saying Brexit would get 400+ seats that was quoting what someone else said based solely on if you took the EU results and extrapolated them to a GE. I was pointing out...

As I said the ban hangs over his head, like a suspended sentence, until retirement. If he gets transferred then that team can't pick him against us - it was there before they signed so they should know about it due to research. If he's transferred to us doesn't matter as he won't be playing...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

So you really believe Tories would get only ONE seat at a GE?! Peoples voting in a GE will be very very different to what we saw in the EU elections and Brexit would pick up a handful of seats at best I reckon. Like I said, after the last EU elections we had loads of people saying how UKIP were...

Something else that annoys me is bans - just taken at the next available game. They should be against the team the offence was against, even if it carries forward for a number of years. Let's say a player gets sent off against us in injury time and the whistle blows so we get no advantage. That...

Could we become Coventry Red Bull Elephants? I'd have no problem with us playing in red (with a bit of green) as they are after all the city colours.

    Universities?

Went to uni, didn't bother with the partying and took it 'reasonably' seriously. Not really been much help and would've been further along a career path doing professional exams and I'd have earnt more. Trouble is that degrees have become devalued, but the big irony is that when they were...

But what we now think of as British was once considered foreign. Just over time it becomes assimilated into society and becomes part of Britishness. I doubt even Victorians would think of us as 'British' with our taste in clothes, food, language, manners, vulgarity etc.

I'm the same with the 6 yard box - does it actually perform a function other than for goal kicks? It's not like it's an area no-one other than the keeper can go in. I think paybe a semi-circle between the posts as a 'goalie area' like in ice hockey might be worth a look. I'm trying to think of...

Just been listening to the cricket and I always get annoyed with the batting clique. Always look down on bowlers and laugh at their technique at batting. So I say lets even it up in limited overs - everyone has to bowl as well. Lets all have a good laugh as batsman get smacked around the ground...

I forgot to put something akin to parts iii and iv in especially. Part ii is sort of in place but is never upheld. Needs the sin-bin idea so anyone doing so has a 'cooling off period'. Part i I've no problem with either as it stops people going down feigning injury to timewaste etc.

But what happens with the children of the immigrants born in this country? They will be British, so the percentage of British will increase. Just as many other people in this country have their ancestry from elsewhere but are now English, myself included. In fact a lot of the people you'd...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

What I said was there is no ambiguity in the statement 'remain in the EU'. Had the statement been "remain and try to get reform" there would have been ambiguity as to what type of reform and what was achievable. But that wasn't the statement so it's not an issue and obtaining reform is a...

Does what he said have a deliberate racist? I've no idea, but you can see why certain people will say it does. I'm taking it as a "London isn't the same city I knew", which is a common thought throughout Britain of the elderly, just as their parents before them didn't either In the future I've...

Of course they'd be campaigning for another vote. Scottish independence vote just two years before Brexit back in the news again and has never really gone away. That was 55-45 for Remain. Do you reckon if they next voted to be independent 51-49 Sturgeon and the like would be saying it wasn't a...

The compromise has to come from within the Leave camp because people weren't sure what they were voting for as the leave campaign was bringing out all the wild theories on what they could get. Hard brexiteers won't go for anything other than no deal, soft Brexiteers won't go for no deal. Had...
