    Rebecca Long-Bailey sacked

And most people don't remember a thing about what's been said in parliament when standing at the voting booth. So use parliament for holding government to account and adopt a more simple, soundbite based approach for elections. As far as I'm concerned long may the forensic analysis continue...

    Rebecca Long-Bailey sacked

Yeah - let's stop having someone going through things properly. Let's just have a good old fashioned shouting match with soundbites instead. How about we stop parliament being allowed to act like children shouting out rather than stopping people doing stuff competently?

Not sure if that's only for teams abroad. I'm sure players/agents talk throughout the season but just date paperwork to fulfil requirements. With O'Hare he was probably unsure of his future. Until a week or so ago he may have been getting a decent offer from Villa. Cov may not have been...

    Liverpool

That's great, but when are we going to get people that think "if I don't drop it on the floor no-one will need to clear it up later". Esp when it's your own city. Surely people know by now stuff like litter picking is way down the council budget list of priorities and has been cut back massively...

    Tom Flanagan

Why are we assuming he'll be cheap? Sunderland had a massive budget compared to the rest of the league last year. I doubt he's a high earner there compared to some from the PL/Championship but I imagine it's a decent enough amount to be noticeable in our budget. Plus he's at his 'prime' earning...

    Tom Flanagan

The consensus I seem to remember from Walsall fans was that he was a nice bloke but didn't use his height and strength anywhere near as effectively as he could and didn't score enough goals by getting into scoring positions. As such they felt he was easily replaceable and that if the rumoured...

For all the talk of people in the stands opinions etc and they're not experts, on the whole getting the consensus of the fans of previous clubs isn't that bad a way of judging a players ability/attitude etc. Certainly more trustworthy than a few minutes of heavily edited highlights on YouTube.

Transfer Rumour Callum O'Hare - Confirmed

They offered him two new contracts as far as I'm aware and he rejected both, at which point Villa decided not to go back with a third and released him at the end of his contract.

Transfer Rumour Callum O'Hare - Confirmed

More than worthwhile to pay that fee. I'd say want he wants in wages is far more important regarding the risk. Hopefully won't be asking an extortionate amount but he may have been on a decent wedge at Villa even as a back-up/reserve and may be a wage cut to join us from there.

I believe it's called a fact. Anti-semitism is a big thing at the extreme left and right of the political spectrum.

I think technically O'Hare's contract doesn't finish until the end of the month so couldn't be announced yet anyway. You'd have thought the club would have given a test to Hamer rather than have to wait for quarantine to get the medical done. I like the quiet way we go about our transfer...

    Gustavo Hamer - CONFIRMED

Just seen this on the CT Where Hamer would rank in CCFC's all-time transfer spends although it does state it's taken from transfr markt surely Gary McAllister is a well-known name missing from that list? Sure he was our most expensive signing ever when he joined for £3m. In fact thinking...

Depends on the size of the fee, how much he was allowed to keep and who those players he could bring in were. Personally I can't really see us getting a massive sum for him that would allow us huge scope in the transfer market. We know he fits into our system and is familiar with his teammates...

While there is an element of truth in that you can hardly say the far-right are welcoming and accepting of Jews. It's a problem at both extreme ends of the spectrum.

and should someone else on his team more closely aligned to him do something similar we'll see if he is. So far the RLB thing is the only AS related issue he's had to deal with among his shadow cabinet, so he can't be considered inconsistent. It's how he reacts next time where we'll see if...

    Rebecca Long-Bailey sacked

But look at the alternative and him keeping her on saying it's overblown. It's going to be seized upon by the Conservatives as Labour covering up anti-semitism and Starmer gets (unfairly) tarred with that brush from there on in and that would be that. It's something the Teflon Tories seem to...

Seemed to be one of those players who elevated themselves due to willingness to work rather than natural ability. I saw him as Andy Morrell's spiritual successor.

    Ex Player Watch

His stats in his last academy year were boosted by a couple of great performances in the Youth Cup. On his day he looked like he could tear you apart but other days was totally ineffective. You could judge the game he was going to have within 10-15mins and if he wasn't 'on it' you may as well...
