As long as they got their asking price they probably wouldn't care who owned it. As it'd only come into effect once they sold the club it wouldn't affect their control of it.

We're definitely being run better than we were when SISU first took over, when they bought some decent players, they failed to get promoted so they sold them immediately for a quick profit and we went pretty much into freefall. But we're still very reliant on the master fund plugging the hole...

Just think - Sanchez's wages since the start of the season would almost cover Bury's debt.....

But look back to pre-season - we signed 9 players very early but then hadn't made a signing for two weeks and it was "why haven't we signed anyone" "we need a RB, a CF, RW, LW and a CM even though we've got 7 or 8 on the books". But at the same time saying "we can't sell Bayliss, we have to keep...

Transfer Rumour What is it with shooting?

There does seem at times to be a reluctance to shoot, possibly because MR does favour the possession play. But he also has to remember we don't have strikers of the quality Man City and Liverpool do and we can't expect them to be as clinical and maybe need to take a punt every now and again and...

But if that's the case why don't all industries (or at least other sports) do it with governing bodies? Make it a closed system so you have to agree to their governing body 's rules, one of which is pay industry creditors first, to trade? Loads of professions need to have accreditation? Who's...

Match Thread Watford vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Tuesday 27th Aug

These are the two most confusing consecutive posts ever. No wonder Baka hasn't done much all night.

Match Thread Watford vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Tuesday 27th Aug

Not a surprise we've got beaten - we've made a lot of changes and they've played a strong team. 3-0 not that embarrassing considering. Baka has shown he's not a decent replacement for Godden. Would have taken him off instead of Kastaneer and moving Baka. Hope McCallum's is precautionary. Let's...

Couple more changes than I thought he'd make. Interesting to see how he'll set Kelly and Eccles up. I reckon Eccles will sit deeper with Kelly a bit more advanced than usual. Strong team for them - looking to get out of the rut and a manager clearly fearing for his job. If they don't beat us in...

    Bolton Latest Announcement

Does this site have things like Facebook or Twitter with ads? Do you have an interest in it. To be honest I used to get my pre-match snack from that van as it was much cheaper (and often quicker) than in the stadium.

Football in 2019 summed up !!

I know as a business decision it'd have been awful. But why are they now allowing the club they own to use big budgets for that level to get promoted if they've seen the problems it causes at a club supposedly dear to their hearts?

Yep. I guess I've always misunderstood the meaning of deadline. If I'd known that I wouldn't have pulled that all-nighter years ago finishing that final piece for uni - I'd have just gone to bed and told em they'd have it sometime in the next six months or so (if I got round to it)

If it meant that much to them why did they decide to buy Salford instead?
