Moving Forward - New Stadium Questions

Couldn't we have a mix? A smaller 'bowl' at the bottom then more four-sided higher up. Corners filled in with corporate/media/offices etc.

It's the influence of SAF on MR - he wants the option of the Herr Drier treatment at HT.

But don't we have Jones? and Jobello? and Hilssner? How many wing options do you need to change it up as a back-up?

I think the betting company is most likely, but would love to see someone like WMG on there. Out of their price range I'd imagine.

Yes it is. You have to walk down past Homebase, across the A45 by the fire station and then continue on past Cannon Park and the uni. It is walkable, probably about 2 miles, so not for everyone EDIT: just saw your response.

Trump is my favourite comedian of the year already

Surely that can't be true. You do wonder how people like that even qualify? If they've got the brains to pass the exams surely they're sensible enough to not believe nonsense. And if you're the licencing authority even the mention of such a batshit crazy theory, unless they've got at least some...

    George Floyd

Isn't that what a lot of counselling does, just with a sugar coating? People who've been abused in some way but kept it hidden due to feeling shame or fearing reprisals are told "you shouldn't do that - you need to accept it happened and talk about it. It's not your fault". When the adverts...

I see you're point - if you're used to encountering a certain problem issue so often you can sometimes look for it or see it even when it's not there. But at the same time why would you comment on a very minor/mild perceived slur whose racial overtones can be questioned instead of incidents...

    Charlton Athletic.

The point was if you're making the case about which is more important based around economics you have to base it on the number of jobs, rates etc the supermarket provides against those the football club do. I couldn't say for sure which would be the biggest as both provide jobs both themselves...

    George Floyd

So let's say a white guy complains about the term of gammon and finds it racially offensive. He must then also be supported in that because he deems it to be offensive whether it was intended as a political rather than racial slur. Thus if he perceives it as a racial slur, it is a racial slur.

    George Floyd

Have you head a black right winger called gammon? It is mainly a political right/left thing, but it then specifically targets the white right wingers. It definitely has racial connotations - why use gammon otherwise? It was chosen specifically because of the colour of the meat. Which is pink.

Personally I think the buffalo was based on size, not its colour. Same as being referred to as an ox.

Yes - skin which changes from pink to red.

    George Floyd

It is most definitely linked to race - it specifically denotes pink skin going red on the outside. That's why gammon is used, not say beef or lamb which is darker.
