We're struggling in midfield as it is - not sure losing one for a striker is going to help. Thing Sheaf coming on either for Shipley or Allen (allowing Shipley to move forward) is something to try first. Need to improve second half - outplayed first half and going in level is a bonus.

GOAL! Arguably don't deserve to be level but it'll do.

Bollocks! Esp as we didn't get a pen earlier

My main concern pre-season was an increased amount of pressing that might affect our game. So far this game that bit less time on the ball seems to be really affecting our accuracy. Also Marosi having to go long more often due to it.

Glad to see Dabo back in but not sure about Shipley (I assume) replacing Kelly. Thought Sheaf would be up to speed by now. Assume he'll replace Shipley around the hour

    Question of sport trio axed.

Just because she has to play at a standard that doesn't attract as much interest publicly has no relation to her knowledge of the sport overall for the culture committee. What exactly could a male ex-pro bring in terms of knowledge of the game beyond what it's like in the dressing...

    How long until

It's what myself and numerous others were talking about last season before it got curtailed - there's a real chance the following season (i.e. this season) would end up being as badly effected, if not worse, than last because it's something that will be in the background from the start...

Loads of people. Could give anecdotal evidence of the amount of moaners just near me when we had our first female assistant ref and claims that they'd be useless because "what do women know about football?" I imagine it was similar at grounds up and down the lands. But if you want a more...

They're 'listening' because they're not telling them to shut things down. If it gets to the stage where infections etc are getting ridiculously high and they suggest it, they'll stop listening and just do whatever the hell they please, just like always.

Although there's no one size fits all and NZ will be different to here in terms of density, climate etc you would think it'd be one of the first places you'd look to emulate in future. But we won't because it's not a massive economy and we're obsessed with money and following what they do...

While this makes sense the ethos of the training and development must also be similar to that of the first team. After all you're putting them through a scholarship so the club can benefit from their development long term in the team and/or being sold on. No point in developing cloggers if the...

    Question of sport trio axed.

Well we're not - we're talking about hosting a panel show on TV. Besides which as the football expert on the culture committee try a 15 year footballing career and 140 England caps. And if you want to talk about qualifications for roles in government - what qualifications do most politicians...

Don't the club want Billson to stay because the main area they think he needs work is on playing with his feet and they can't control that if he's elsewhere?

Good point. But the upward trend is still worrying and I fear we'll sleepwalk into another situation whereby people start needing hospitalising as it spreads into the more vulnerable areas, plus as we go into flu season the effect of possibly having two bad respiratory diseases at once, the...

Same rhetoric as was about for the first lockdown (once they'd dropped the herd immunity nonsense (publically at least)) but we failed to do any of it. It looks like we're going to fail again and are about to make all the same mistakes we did first time round. I'm still clinging to the hope...

Maybe they should incorporate goalline technology to see if the head has crossed the line. Nick probably wants his kids to be born quickly in the breech position - get a two-footer in early doors

We've had the same with female officials, female commentators etc as if the rules of a game are too hard for the pretty little lady to understand. Same as women couldn't be trusted to vote because putting a cross in a box was beyond their comprehension, but when it comes to keeping small...
