Stability would go a long way wouldn't it. I think we are pretty much settled with fullbacks aren't we. MVE and Bidwell when he's fit. But it's the centre backs. Need to decide what the partnership is going forward out of Binks, Thomas, Kitching and Lati.

That Saka challenge on Saturday was just nuts. Really dumb thinking and such a very soft penalty to give away.

It was. Must have been a close call between Lampard and Mr Bean.

Or, if you are Russell Slade, you just write to the FA and ask if you can forfeit all your games.

Yup, I know. It's nuts thinking about a relegation battle in October.

It's mad isn't it. One game you can be looking over your shoulder, worrying about being too close to the bottom, and the next, you start thinking how close we can get to the top. What needs to happen now is a bit of a run. 5 or 6 games unbeaten, etc I wouldn't be looking at the top and...

Convinced we would lose that. Leading the whole way, but then started to fluff their lines and not progress the ball at all. Knew they would miss that field goal to make it a two score differential and knew they weren't going to make anything out of that turnover. They started being far too...

I am still hopeful he will come good. Still plenty of the season ahead for him to prove himself.

Well I thought he was excellent yesterday.

He's 54 now, so I guess he will retire when he gets to around 68, so I am now trying to suss out any good managers that can take over the reins in 14 years time.

Yup, he looked a lot more free-flowing and sharp yesterday. Back to more like his best

True I have just picked up on Sheaf, because so many shots of his are so high over the bar. I really rate Sheaf highly and thought he had a great game. Just wish he could work on his shooting.

No. I was talking about first half for Eccles' effort and he definitely had a shot in the second half that went narrowly wide. I remember his putting his head in his hands, because he thought it was going on. Unless I am going mad

He was. His marauding runs really helped create space for the team and constantly put Luton on the back foot

Yeah, I didn't mind it all and just thought Robins was trying to match Luton in terms of physicality. We have been bullied far too often in games before. I wasn't expecting such a defensive lineup to be so attacking though. 😂 That was a joyous surprise.

Agree on that last bit. We are so close to being able to put out a really good side. I think a midfielder and another centre back.
