    O’Hare

I'd give Jones more time off the bench to give O'Hare a rest. Not exactly the same player but more of a goal threat and we need to give him time to see if he can get up to speed in this division or not.

    Todd Kane/Michael Rose/Gyok

Gyo doesn't look the same without Waghorn, but I agree I think he should have been rested to fully recover from the ankle knock. He wasn't fit that game and it's now dragging out. If Waghorn is fit then give him a start.

I agree. As good as it is to be able to play a settled side you have to accept that the players will need a rest at times. Rotating in the likes of Kane, Rose and Walker/Waghorn is going to be necessary if you want the players to maintain the standard of intensity required over the whole season...

Thing is he puts him on the bench but rarely uses him so he can't get any fitness in U23. Not same intensity I know but more useful than sitting down for 90 mins. If MR is unsure of his ability then give him time in the U23. If he's got what it takes he'll dominate those games.

It's as if MR doesn't know what to do with him. Played him at LWB and today at CM. If you're going to bring him on give him the freedom to run at defences.

He had Walker on the bench but didn't bring him on until the very end. Kane can offer a better delivery from the flanks. Sheaf can be a bit hit and miss but normally plays ahead of Allen. He had options on the bench that were no worse than who was playing and if someone's having an off day...

Swansea were good and made us make mistakes but too many below par performances tonight. Why leave it until a minute to go to bring a striker on when you're chasing the game and don't look particularly threatening I don't know.

Someone with that much technical ability must be able to strike a ball cleanly. I think it's more in his head.

or give him more shooting practice in training.

    Swansea (H) - Tuesday 2nd - 19:45

Exciting game and we're arguably lucky to only be one down, even though their second might have been offside and their defender should be off. Terrible start but Swansea don't look solid at the back and chances will come as long as we can keep them out. Could do with making a chance at half...

But a AM should be able to shoot reasonably well. O'Hare is just terrible at it.
