I think 5000 would exceed moat people's expectations. Id be surprised if gates of 5000 could sustain our current squad and approach to transfers if St Andrews becomes long term....but hopefully we dont need to worry about that!

If we managed 2,000 what do you think the average attendance might reach? 3-4000 would be a hell of a drop but certainly not as dire as the Sixfields numbers. I suppose it depends how many people (myself included) have decided against a ST but will still attend home games when possible/suitable.

I've not specifically run a 5k before but my fastest (as part of a 3.6 mile circuit I do from home and round the Memorial Park) is 23:10, so 18:50 would be dreamland for me! Is a 5k at the Park pretty much 2 circuits of it?

I can relate to the slight apprehension given that we know very little about them. Overall i'm happy that we seem to be bringing in players at League 1 level and are clearly working to a plan. This is not the chaotic approach of picking through the leftovers in mid-July/early August.

A new stadium being built is realistic in that there's almost certainly a suitable site for it somewhere in the city. However I'd be sceptical that it would sustainable in a city this size (given the competition from the Ricoh for those non-football events). Given the previous lack of success in...
