    Just seen Parkin in Tesco

I wonder if he was amazed at a supermarket with those new-fangled electric lights? Between spending his time in Wales and THE NORTH, he's like a third-world refugee.

    Learning to drive

Try a quiet estate once you've got the controls down pat too. Best thing I ever did whilst learning was go out without an instructor, you can get into the habit of just waiting for their prompt quite easily.

    Just seen Parkin in Tesco

They're both fat strikers, that's all the comparison people are really making.

Got a feeling Thorn will walk !!

Second this. Without doing much at all, he's already one of the most supported managers we've had. Even relegation wouldn't really see people turn on him.

    Just seen Parkin in Tesco

I'm not sure we can afford to turn our noses up at anyone who wants to play for us at this point. 21st century Micky Quinn, let's go.

    Sisu book of liars

That Vantis stuff is terrifying, yet not surprising. Ken needs money for the creosote he cakes his face in.

To anal for me this place. See ya

Maybe it was meant as a metaphor as we continue to get shafted in the transfer window?

To anal for me this place. See ya

When I clicked and saw a thread saying 'too anal', I feared I'd clicked the wrong bookmark again.

Jason scotland to meet bored and manager

I'd take a 16-goal striker in a heartbeat. I remember he was in good form with Swansea, I'm guessing he went off the boil a little since?

    "We are woeful"

Erm, no. How do you placate and antagonise? Join me on my phone in. Apparent 'fake fans' only!

    Next season

I don't know, we started by buying the Championship striker then for big money, and we've only just been trumped for a League Two striker. Were we to go down, I'm not sure I share your confidence of a quick return.

Arguing with each other at Middlesbrough away

Hoffman's a long-time fan, he'll know that it's frustration manifesting itself from fans; I'm sure he's been there before himself. Anyone who's supported Cov as long as that will have a thick skin about these things, I wouldn't worry about it getting to him too much.

    Next season

I'm getting 2001 deja vu, this was how I rationalised our PL relegation.

Championship. The promises of investment were also made by SISU when they took over.

    Ben Turner off to Brum

    Nobody's saying he's not a good player.

    Ben Turner off to Brum

The squad is lightweight, but central defence is the one area we're relatively overstocked. Plus this is a player we haven't even seen in around a year.

    Why is Hoffman so bad?

The thing I don't get is - why sabotage a bid when you can just reject it? It can't be a PR thing as people hate SISU either way. Something doesn't add up, has anyone got one of those detective macs and an old monochrome video camera?

    Why is Hoffman so bad?

It wouldn't be the first time backers have changed their minds, that Manhattan group come to mind. This is just a wild theory of course, the sad truth is that it doesn't really matter any more.

The reason Hoffman didn't come (rumours)

It would fit, as the whole saga has an air of Carry On farce about it. Anyone heard Ken's dirty laugh?

    Why is Hoffman so bad?

While your theory seems the most obvious, it could be theorised that the investors saw an easy way to pull out whilst saving face. After all, we know even less about them. I believe Hoffman 100% had the right intentions, but that's not always enough. I don't really buy the idea that seasoned...
