Seems we had the chances to score at least 3 (again), but the reluctance of MR to go with Walker AND make changes at critical points has contributed to this draw. Their goal was just bad luck really, as it was heading well wide. Gus was unlucky at the death, but who’s to say Walker wouldn’t have...

    The measurement of success

I vote for Greggs, Boosh, and King of Whatever to have lifetime achievers awards, sponsored by the forum, and handed over in person by Clive Eakin who instantly gets their names wrong. 👍🏻 There’s one for the showbiz thread. Measurement of success…in the grand scheme of things, all things...

Changes ASAP. This can’t be left until the 80th minute. Hull’s gameplan has clearly paid off then.

I think we all have to admit that maybe Walker deserved a chance today. Godden sounds done, to be fair.

I have that issue too, mate. It’s the really ‘stand out’ moments that I recall, it’s like bits and pieces in a misty fog. lol

    What Was Your…

I was listening to the game Vs Spurs on CWR, and poor old Rob Gurney couldn’t believe what he was seeing. 🤣 Strachan had unbelievably class, even at 38, and just ran the show that day. Everyone talks about the cross for the first goal, and the interchange with Darby for the 3rd, but his pace...

    What Was Your…

There was just something unique about that performance, and the 3-2 win over Arsenal in 99-00. I’ve never celebrated a goal like Huckerby’s to make it 3-2 in the last minute, not before or since, it was just absolute pandemonium in HR. Quite enjoyed this, in my first ever attended football match:

He was about as mobile as a dump truck, if I remember rightly. Looked like a part time player. 🤣

    What Was Your…

…most vividly remembered match, home or away, in your time supporting the Mighty Sky Blues? It’s probably been done here a few times, but be buggered am I trawling through that back log of threads. Include a link to highlights if possible! ⚽️

    The Orange Ball

What a game that was! I was only 15, in my second ST year, and of all the games I recall vividly, this is in the top 3. Blackburn were just in disarray, that day. I remember joking with my step dad that we should use an orange ball every week, and he said: “yeah, and stick a bell in it as...
