Olympic protest to bring negative media attention to SISU

Do it at the FA Cup final. The sheer intrigue as to why Cov fans are there in the first place would get more attention than hanging round at an Olympic groups stage match that pretty much nobody will be watching.

    Folklore and Myths

If hyperbole and misrepresentation count as big words that need to be looked up, we're in real trouble as a species.

Olympic protest to bring negative media attention to SISU

If the plan is to disrupt an event that neither involves Cov or a facility owned by Cov or SISU, why wait until the Olympics come here? There are surely far more newsworthy events before then that can be gatecrashed than the preliminary matches of a tournament seen as an afterthought within the...

Olympic protest to bring negative media attention to SISU

I don't think I've heard the Olympics described as half-baked before.

"We have to make sure we are going for the win in every game we play now"

We've got a real sense of drama. Now we'll start trying to win, pull clear of relegation at the death and Dulieu then jumps out of a box screaming 'ta-da'

    Marlon's reception on saturday

Scholes and Neville alongside Giggs if you're talking one-club men. Carragher alongside Gerrard, Terry at Chelsea etc. Tends to be that they don't leave if they're already at a prominent club, Le Tiss is the only player I can think of who stayed with a team despite interest from higher-ups.

    Blues...off the pitch

It would be nice to watch some football after whatever that was on Tuesday.

My Season ticket price has gone up!

Anyone remember what the earliest bird price was for the band that's now £299? I had mine by this time last year and think it came to about £280ish overall?

    Season Ticket Priices -2012/2013

What prices? I can't see the announcement. EDIT: Oh they're sending out brochures? I'll never get that I bet, just like club emails.

    Blues...off the pitch

Do they still use the big bouncy castle outdoor seating thing at the Oak?

    Blues...off the pitch

I do try to avoid both as much as possible nowadays.

    Blues...off the pitch

They've got that fan ownership rule there too. Maybe when more clubs begin to collapse football will become a little more grounded again, although I can't see it any time soon.

There's no way in hell 80% of people are being disorderly. It's Coventry, not Mogadishu.

Being drunk and disorderly is already an offence.

    Cody's goal?

He looked his sharpest for a long time before and after the goal, certainly wasn't as quiet as suggested. The goal was a snap shot with his left (I think) right into the bottom corner, took it well during a bit of a mess in the area.

    Blues...off the pitch

Football's definitely skyrocketed price-wise, regardless of who can still/now afford it. When you look at some season ticket prices in the top division it's obscene. Is it Germany where it's still relatively sensible?

    Blues...off the pitch

I'd hope so, but this thread alone has people wary of bringing kids along. They may be overly cautious and are actually in no danger whatsoever, but the threat is obviously still felt by some. That's fair enough, but when normal fans do get affected it becomes mindless thuggery. I'll happily...
