Match Thread ⚽️ Coventry City vs Swansea City Match Thread - Saturday 17th Dec

I think it will be one of the lowest crowds of the season to be honest. Swansea won't bring many at all, they've not sold a block yet which is understandably with the ground situation.

Wouldn’t have been a corner if Panzo hadn’t have missed kicked but yes poor defending and Wilson flapping after.

    End of Hummel?

Spot on. Especially about social media. For example on Twitter we have a following the size of a L2 club with around 150K. Teams like Bolton 250K, Wigan 327K, Reading 364K. This was talked about last year on another thread but its pathetic for a club and city our size.

    End of Hummel?

Agree. The club is run like an absolute joke.

    Eviction notice

Didn't someone early on in the thread find out that Doug King and SISU share the same registered offices?

I doubt he was ever going to take over to be honest.

    Ball 13 in F.A cup

I thought they looked okay the first 20 mins but after that period they were awful. All they do is play the long ball and hope to get a throw in the opposite half for Tozer to launch it in the box. No game plan at all and baring in mind York have not won in eight games now. They also looked...

    Ball 13 in F.A cup

4 weeks later we played stoke in the next round and had 15K there. My point was no one is bothered about watching non league teams.

    Ball 13 in F.A cup

The last time we played a non-league team at home in the FA Cup the crowd was under 3K Attendance: 2,985 (595 Boreham Wood). Granted, Wrexham will bring 4K so the gate will be higher but they will probably out number us.

    Ball 13 in F.A cup

Somebody doesn't read the above posts first ;-) FA rules state minimum £10.

    Ball 13 in F.A cup

There will definitely be a price cap somewhere along the line as each club gets 45% gate receipts with the other 10% going to the FA prize pool.

    Ball 13 in F.A cup

Yeah agree they need to do something because we have 4 games over the Xmas period already with 3 of them at home. People simply can’t afford it and the cup game would be the least priority. I remember playing Boreham Wood in the FA Cup a few years back and the crowd was less than 3K. Wrexham...

    Ball 13 in F.A cup

Apart from playing Stoke who were in the premier league at the time we’ve barely managed a few thousand home fans for an FA Cup 3rd Round match.

    Ball 13 in F.A cup

No chance of a 15K crowd. We had 8K against Derby in the FA Cup last season and a third of that was Derby fans.
