Ok, so to summarise, the council didn't believe it to be state aid so assumed no sign off was necessary, either by the EC or the member states authority (which in this case I assume was the UK Govt/Dept CM+S)? The courts agreed with the council so all hunky-dory, right?! In our case anyway...

I don't get all the certainty of us staying up. We're only 4 points above the relegation zone and some teams have a game in hand. In this league, it really doesn't matter who you're playing as results can go either way....Yeovil beating Sheff Utd for example last night. It only takes us losing...

I'd question those stats though...it's got us playing between 400 and 1,000 less games that some clubs who've been formed as long as us. I suspect that it doesn't take into account 10-11 years we were known as Singers FC...I suspect that points from those games would bump us up the table a...
