I didn’t downplay his achievements at all. Don’t put words in my mouth. I have in other posts actually lauded his accomplishments. But he has just overseen the spending of around 40M pounds or so and we’ve not performed up to expectations have we? We’re sitting in 14th. He’s done well with us...

its a public forum where everyone is free to voice their opinions. No need to criticize fellow posters if you don’t agree or don’t like what I say. I wish the team was as fired up as you to silence their critics.
Still waiting for a complete performance over 90 mins, but it was a little...
He’s really a very average manager. Perhaps made to look good by Adi and Lawrence. Best one we’ve had in awhile maybe doing better than Slade, Thorn or Elvis is a really low bar.
Trying to look for any kind of positives here. Only things I can think of are we’ve won there on our last couple of visits and it's not a 12:30 kickoff as we have not won any of those so far. After playing so bad so far, things can only get better (I hope).
Norwich are not the Norwich of old. They had 1 attempt on target. Same with Stoke. Rather than saying these teams are good we should say we’ve been bad and made them look good. We will get easily thrashed 4-0 or worse by some of the better teams we are about to face.
It’s not Devin’s fault we lost. But we still lost even if it was due to an unlucky deflected attempt from point blank range. Getting into good positions and getting shots on target matter.
Part of the problem is Ellis doesn’t inspire confidence in his teammates either. So they think “Why bother passing to him, when he’ll miss it anyway”. Supposedly big and strong, yet so timid and easily outmuscled. It’s frustrating.
