Lampard's opinion of the team is probably worse than what he thought

What's the point of crossing if there are no strikers (i.e Simms) to meet it

C'mon Lampard! Make some subs. This team is clueless

MVE has looked worse than last season and have several other players (e,g, Simms).

Take Eccles off and bring Simms on and go 2 up top and roll the dice. C'mon!

We don't close anybody down. Might as well roll the red carpet and invite them to shoot. Utterly deplorable.

I really hope we find a way to win this. Cardiff look so awful and losing or drawing with them would just sap our confidence and would be another missed opportunity in another winnable game.

The problem with our players is when we are moving forward, we seem to dawdle in midfield and pass sideways or backwards and let the other team get set up again at the back. I'd like for us to make a quick thrust forward when there is an opportunity to do so.

Think Simms need to come on. He's much better at headers than Bassette and should be able to get a goal here. Would do a world of good for his confidence.

I was more surprised when Adi left and when Robins was sacked. This frankly doesn't affect much much at all.

Smart move on his part to wait to take over after those tough games. But if we cannot beat Cardiff (who really suck) and suppose we lose, the Lampard-bashers will be out in full force.

He has more guile and nous than Simms and almost the same number of goals scored in very limited action.

He was okay (nothing too special) in my view. Marginally better than his previous cameos. I expected a more pacy player with goals to his game. But so far he has underwhelmed from that perspective.

Hate to agree with Wilder but some of our performances under MR were so piss poor that it mind boggling. If we can find a way not to concede goals, I think the wins will follow. At least we’ve shown some resilience these last 2 games.
