Ball & McGoldrick were brilliant today...

I didn't see anything in Ball at all in his first few games but since his goal he's started coming good. I can see him starting more games at this rate. Nail on head stuff here:

    Linnell

He worked extremely hard on the right side and was one of the few players who looked capable of retaining possession at times.

    Holding Grudges

If you honestly think he was shit then I don't think yours is a mind that can be changed.

    Linnell

    He was right about Baker.

    sort problems

Just to note, to avoid picking a captain who isn't always in the team you're advocating a player currently out injured.

    clive platt

I thought Platt was an honest player who worked hard, but I find it tough to get too nostalgic over a striker who helped us score the next to no goals that saw us entrenched in the relegation spots all season.

    Macca

More overblown nonsense, at least you keep up a good ratio.

De La Soul played there not too long back too. If it's good enough for them and all that.

    John Fleck

If his previous reputation is any indication, he should really be too good for this division. Hopefully dragging us up along with him.

    This strange feeling

Two home wins on the trot now would be like a magical wonderland. If the game is even worse than yesterday's apparently was I don't care, I just want to see a Coventry league win in person for the first time in what feels like years.

    The Enemy on soccer am

There tend to be reasons with the Enemy, Keys and Gaunt beyond just 'semi-famous Cov fan'. You don't hear people slagging off the Coronation Street serial killer, after all.

    some praise

It's because 90% of threads created in the wake of a defeat are by Glen, who disappears all other times.

It's really quite the leap. What he said was not particularly amazing compared to a lot of calls.

McDonald's claiming it, 'appy days innit. I didn't realise he was that Essex.

If you come to that conclusion based on someone sounding a bit thick on a phone-in we'd have to paint a lot more handicapped parking spots.

    The Enemy on soccer am

Americans didn't come up with the word soccer, the English did.

This guy on the phone in is gold. 'I'm pleased with Coventry now. Scoring goals, that what they should have done before' Can't fault that analysis.

    This beating will be harmful

Glen only wakes up at the full-time whistle of defeats. After making a thread or fifteen covering the same subject he then goes into hibernation. Waiting. Interminably waiting.
