    South Stand home end?

You've got to consider the angles that people are looking at the pitch. Being in the midriff of someone three rows back is fine if they're looking straight ahead, but they won't be. They'll be looking at a slight downward angle at the pitch (which would be determined by how steep the stand is)...

    South Stand home end?

Why does it look shit and tinpot? Standing in the corner is what we, effectively, already have with Singer's Corner. Imagine being in the WT all those years ago and being told that at the new ground their equivalent would be in the corner of the new stadium. You'd have been laughed at. And that...

Football is a bigger earner worldwide yet on the whole works of an almost completely opposite approach. The thing they both know how to do is sell themselves well. I think football can be immensely boring at the top levels nowadays, but it still seems to attract an ever increasing number of...

    Never thought I’d say this…

I'd drop Godden for Allen and go back to one up top. Eccles is offering more than Godden. Yes it does leave us with two defensive midfielders in Sheaf and Eccles, but that could work to our advantage as it would give Hamer a freer role.

    Fiona Bruce

By saying Stanley Johnson "only did it once" (which itself is biased as it ignores that the person who was beaten says it was more often) you're agreeing with the premise that he beat his wife. I don't see how that prevents Stanley Johnson for attempting to sue the BBC as he can still accuse...

    South Stand home end?

In terms of not affecting sightlines it actually makes more sense to have safe standing in a corner.

Fair enough. I just find it odd that the most popular sport in a country that extols capitalism has restrictions set in place to allow a level playing field that would seem quite socialist in nature.

Disappointing overall. Have to applaud MR making changes at HT to give us control of the midfield, but then ruins it by not making any further changes to a team that looked tired playing on a heavy pitch. Almost like he decided that because he'd made these early subs he wasn't make any more.

Got to be demoralising for walker. Scored in a game and not even given a chance off the bench since despite the other striker having little impact.

I do think we need to use the bench with the heavy pitch and another game Saturday. Wold love to be able to take off Gyok, Fadz and Hamer but game is still very much in the balance.

He just looks too raw to be reliable at the moment. Capable of causing problems for both the opposition and us.

With just the one goal lead it seems a risk. Godden and Walker together? Not sure.
