Definitely in the future but I think Gus would take over provided he stays.

    Ashes 2023

I can see him hanging on for a bit to get to 700 wickets, hoping he can get there against some of the 'smaller' teams. Once he gets there I think he'll be off.

Although that is more rounded off square pegs in round holes. Eccles is a DCM, Lati is more a central player and Tatsu is more attacking. Burroughs was brought through the ranks playing a more central/attacking role and is being retrained as a WB, and is left-footed. Imagine MVE got injured...

I can see him really exciting the crowd, but blowing a bit hot and cold also potentially losing possession quite a bit as well. Sakamoto could be of a similar ilk IMO. I think MVE will excite people but be more consistent.

    Rocking all over the world

It's worth remembering that when HR was built in 1899 it would have been much closer to the edge of the city boundary than when we all remember it. There was a lot of expansion around the city during the 20th century.

Perhaps you could offer some sort of incentive to get them to spill the beans....;)

Match Thread Exeter City (a) 29th July

I had an idea like that. Was going to get hold of Jim Brown about it.

    Luis Binks

Felt a bit disappointed when I saw it was a loan. Been a bit spoiled so far this window haven't we? Still a decent signing and maybe we can consider making it permanent later on.

    The Signings Countdown Thread

I think you could put Howley in that group too, even if he is a WIP. AM as well I'd say we're covered when everyone is fit. Palmer O'Hare Sakamoto Allen Hamer can play more advanced and did so successfully end of last season Arguably Burroughs can play an attacking midfield role too. Then...

With all these foreign based signings and twitter snippets, I think our next signing has to be Rosetta Stone.

Transfer Rumour Van Ewijk - Confirmed

Yep. Though I've stated my dislike for unoriginal songs, if the player already has one and likes it, keep it.

    SQUAD 23/24

I think some of the 10 MR was talking about will end up being development players.

Transfer Rumour Van Ewijk - Confirmed

With the signings we're bringing in might not even be any match tickets - ground sold out with ST's!

    The gyokeres money

Like a lot of people I was OK with Gyokeres leaving as long as the money was used to upgrade the quality and quantity of the squad. It seems like the club are ticking those boxes. Funds well used on the face of it.

Transfer Rumour Van Ewijk - Confirmed

Never thought this would actually happen, but then I thought Simms was almost as unlikely. Got to admit I'm getting excited for the new season, and I'm sure our transfers aren't over yet. Another couple of CB's and s ST I reckon, with maybe a couple of loans as well.
