    Transfer Rumour Scott Twine

As for Twine, if we was available I think half the division would be after him, so he wouldn't come cheap.

    Transfer Rumour Scott Twine

Not sure if you've heard anything, but I agree this seems likely. We desperately need a CB, Burnley have no use for him, and not sure anyone else would pay north of £2.5m for him

Unless this is sarcasm, no one was in uproar. They came very highly rated

    Eccles

He’s a squad player for us, who is cheap because he came through the academy. Not a bad player but I don’t think he’d start week in week out for many, if any, championship sides.

    Eccles

Think he’ll probably end up in League one/two. Ok enough technically but lacks that bit of aggression and confidence you need

Yeah I’m not sure either, but we’ll try to and the quality of the squad isn’t great at the moment.

    Transfer targets

The club will be ready for this. This was the expected outcome until a few weeks ago. Losing Vik and Hamer is devastating but if we can get to a 7-8 players who are top championship players then we could be stronger.

The morning after the night that wasnt to be.

Feel completely bereft. Cruel game. There are positives but will take some time to see them.

    Transfer targets

Anyone saying we need a Forest style window should just stop. They had a £250m+ outlay and have taken on a ridiculous wage bill. If Forest go down they’re done. I’d be looking at 8-10 signings, but signings that would put us in a strong position if we go down. Nothing daft like Jesse Lingard...

    Potential retained list

Don't think ripping up the squad would work. That said we'll need 5-6 successful improvements on the starting XI. Not sure how many new players that warrants.

HAMER: BEST MIDFIELDER IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP

He’s on a different level. Miles better than anyone Boro had up against him. On Sunday it felt like he was playing their midfield by himself. He’s PL level and then some.

We still need him to get the ball under, get on the turn and do what he does best.

As others have said, complete bollocks that they're content with that game and performance, and 'didn't get out of third gear'. They shaded it, I thought, but did nothing in the second half and let us dominate, though we didn't create much. Anything can happen on Wednesday night. Even if we'd...

Yeah Sheaf not getting any minutes makes me think he's there in case something goes wrong, i.e. injury to Kelly Disappointing as I think he's made to play against this Boro side, and would free up Hamer to do more going forward

If Sheaf starts and plays well, we'll look a different side. I'm a bit unsure on what to do re Godden. He wasn't in the game, but then does a lot of unselfish running, and is there a risk Vik is isolated?

    Dave Boddy

I think that’s a strange take. A CEO of a football club can’t take any credit for success? Not sure you do have to. Fisher was here a long time before Boddy though, and was more involved pre Boddy too - coincidentally a period of decline. Sunlit uplands only since Sir Boddy came in.

True but Norwich have also bounced around the PL a fair bit, whereas we’ve not always had a stadium to play in, hard to compare.
