    Bury fan in peace

Your avg attendance last year was 3,500 and you're bringing 1,000 on Saturday? Are you telling lies?

If we don't score within the first 10 mins small sections of the crowd will start to get on the players backs. If we haven't scored within 20 the boos will start after every mis-placed pass. If we go a goal down the atmosphere will be reminiscent of the Grimsby 2001 game just after we came...

    The Ricoh Experiance

Great post. For me the fleeting moments of unbridled joy (whl 97, highbury 93, huckerby v man u 97, wembley, westwoods last min pen save v wolves 09??) make it all worthwhile. Those moments will live with me forever and no matter how rare they are there will be more to come. Pusb

    Doyle reception

Applaud him (like most other clubs fans do when long serving players return) for giving his all in 300-odd games for the club. Then get on with supporting the team to hopefully 3 points.

Once Again, the Inevitable Football League Show Thread...

There is some sh*t posted on this site (some of it by me) but this nonsense about BBC having a bias against us is just laughable. Like that Leicester supporting presenter sits in a meeting with the director and editor before each show and says, "Lads, unless you show the Coventry goals last and...

    Match day rituals or superstitions

I never watch our penalties. I turn my back and wait for the cheers or (the too often) groans.

Winch is fucking abysmal on commentary as well. I paid for sbp subscription to listen to games and at times i can hardly bare it due to him and fosters nonsense.

    Vs Yeovil Realistic Hopes?

Didn't think he'd had much of a pre-season? Could be wrong.

    Vs Yeovil Realistic Hopes?

Wouldn't be surprised if we win, lose or draw. It's a tough one to call. if we take the risk of playing less than 100% match fit players, ie Fleck, Jennings, Barton, I think we will lose.

    Leaving for Yeovil

I thought a lot were going to The Arrow? Alternatively the Airfield I would say as The Bell is a bit furtehr away I think.

    Leaving for Yeovil

Recommend The Arrow for a few pre-match pints mate?

    Leaving for Yeovil

Going the other way (but from 30 miles further afield) never takes more than three hours but that is usually outside of school holidays. Make sure you come off the motorway at Taunton and not Bristol, regardless of what the sat nav says as it is much quicker.

    Leaving for Yeovil

Stopped raining in Dorchester (20 miles away from Yeovil). Forecast reasonably ok for the rest of today and tomorrow. Bring on the beer and 3 points! :guitar2:

    Captain Kilbane

Really looking forward to seeing that midfiled four. Are we likely to see it on Saturday? Still must be question marks over all of their match fitness levels (Kilbane aside)?
