Homeland swiftly turned in 24-esque nonsense. I'll still watch S3, but I'm not looking forward to it as much as I did with the last one now.

That and the cinematography really sets the scene beautifully. Even though there's murder in the subways and beetles coming up the plugholes I'd still love to visit.

Homeland was another; if it was a self-contained season it would have been great, but hearing they've been extended for a third season and beyond, you start to think there's no strict storyline in place.
