Where the hell was the left back then?

    Refereeing

It shouldn't be about if they want to. The laws are an integral part of the game they want to play. If they want to make it as a pro football so much proving they have an understanding of its laws and how to apply them isn't much to ask..

    Women's World Cup 2023

Watching Bronze make that run you just felt she'd lose the ball and Spain would exploit her position. Good finish though.

Really? Do they have to get an actual qualification? Do they have to do stuff like reffing lower age groups? Makes you wonder why there's so few refs available and also why they give so much grief to refs.

Been saying for ages part of their scholarship should be a referring qualification. Would give them a much better understanding of the rules and the pressure. So much effort is put into getting kids to think about coaching etc a a fallback, but almost nothing on reffing.

    Women's World Cup 2023

I think we look the better team so far but Spain look dangerous on the break

    Women's World Cup 2023

When she got herself stupidly sent off and the following game we looked a lot better. Frankly she's lucky to even be available. She should have got a 3 match ban but they gave her two, almost certainly due to the fact it'd be the final.

    Transfer Rumour Ellis Simms

With Simms I really feel it's a confidence thing. When things aren't going his way his head can drop a bit and with it goes just that little bit of motivation and effort. We've all done it where we've been playing well and with confidence - every pass goes exactly where you want it, you control...

    Transfer Rumour Ellis Simms

MR wanted Walker for ages, just like he did Chaplin. I've be really surprised if during that time they didn't do a fair bit of scouting on him. Neither worked out here, but that doesn't mean they were panic buys.

    Jamie Allen

I think healthwise he'll be fine, but the inflammation can be a problem and if you're working your heart hard as a pro athlete the chance of an attack are massively increased. I completely stopped doing particular exercises after a bout of a similar condition because they were far more likely to...

    New Songs for players

They've been shit for a while. Gyokeres' was shite, and Hamer's, although a little better, was just a lazy rehash of Richarlison. Yet Hyam the One and Only never got a single airing, even though Hyam himself said he thought it was great..

    West Brom goal

I know it never mattered what a defender is doing in the laws, just where he is, but the point is is that right? An attacker can deliberately stand where the fuck they like to deliberately try and gain an advantage for a teammate and not be given offside yet a defender lying incapacitated on the...

    West Brom goal

I can understand why that would be the case, but when you have attacking players standing offside but 'not interfering' then it makes it a bit of a farce doesn't it. If attackers can get around not being offside by just not getting involved, defenders should be allowed to do exactly the same.
