It's what American owners expect. Local/state government stump up the cash for their nice sparkly new stadium or they say they're going to move the team to another location that will pay for it.
Not sure they understand that's not how it works here. In America providing a social security net...
Assuming we're still well in the promotion hunt by Jan I think that loans like that will likely be obligation to buy if we get promoted.
Jan could be a very tricky window. If we're high up the table we might just be able to attract some players that ordinarily we wouldn't at this level, and so...
Would be odd for me. Attacking wise we're doing amazing at the moment and last few games Simms has started to show he's more than capable as a back-up and BTA has been in incredible form in all the attacking positions. So why do we need Bamford?
Given that Simms seems a confidence player I...
Personally I didn't expect him to be first choice immediately and would need settling time. However I did think he'd be second choice LB and coming off the bench to get minutes so he could learn the system etc. Most of his brief appearances have been as a left attacker and he's barely played any...
Sent straight back to where though? Where's the proof they came from France, or anywhere else?
Unless there's an international holding centre for undocumented people, and good luck getting through the political mire to set that up.
If you had mainland European processing centres overseeing a 'fair distribution' you'd probably find we'd have to accept more. Despite this idea that 'they're all coming here' the fact is that other countries take far more than we do.
"His parents went to the World Cup in 1998 as fans and now their son could be playing for the Reggae Boys, who are managed by Steve McClaren."
Criteria for eligibility really is low now isn't it
Hence why Lampard took him out for all those dinners we heard about -helping him pile on the pounds knowing we couldn't afford him and he'd go elsewhere.
And the reason those fans get first dibs is because they do those 'inconvenient' matches. That's their reward for doing the less glamourous, onerous matches - they get to see the more appealing ones.
Man U sell out every game though. If we had every single away match selling out at high points brackets I'd say "fine, let's ballot a small amount of tickets." But we don't. Around half go to general sale, so the opportunities are there.
I get that you live far away and it's more difficult for...
Except that Australia is surrounded by international waters so can do so without interfering with another country's waters. And the journey to Australia by boat is 10 times what it is from France to England. For an equivalent journey the shortest route to Australia would be the same as someone...
But there are times when you see players quite happy to sprint forwards when there are chances to score but suddenly be tired and jog back to defend. Stamina always seems to be so much better when you're attacking.
