I'll publicly say no in the hope it doesn't negatively impact ticket sales....

Got to be a reasonable chance of a sell-out, certainly in home areas?

Match Thread Coventry City - Stoke City Match Thread - Saturday 8th Mar

Me attending aside, the law of averages suggest we are due not to win. has the club ever won 9/10?.... That said, on paper surely it is another excellent opportunity for 3 points (as is Derby who are utter dogshit). Sheaf for Eccles, Allen for Rudoni. Get Torp on after 60 mins. Another...

Best 11 since return to the championship

If we're playing 3 atb then that looks pretty decent. I'd have Grimes in for Sheaf and Rudoni for O'Hare.

Grimes has scored 10/11 in his career as well.

    An apology

Thanks for all of your kind words. I've now convinced myself that this is the season for ending hoodoos - they say things come in threes so Swansea, Preston, and me finally seeing a win. If we don't then I'm clearly the issue so will take one for the team and stay at home until promotion has...

    An apology

I have mentioned on here before that I am on a horrendous run of form and as it stands I have not seen us win any of the last 15 games I've been to. I can't get to many and the last match I attended was the Fratton Park debacle. It's now over 3 years since I saw us win! Anyway, I'm coming on...

Best of all none of our rivals chasing 5th and 6th are anywhere near us regardless of whether you look at last 6/8/10/12/14/16 games. This is such an opportunity.

    I'm So Happy

On my stag do in 2007 I was given the option of wearing the Villa shirt my best mate was holding or the surprise shirt that he had in a bag. I chose the the surprise one..........it was another Villa shirt. FML.

Match Thread Oxford United - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 1st Mar

Oxford fans seem quite bullish on their forum and see this as one of their more winnable matches left this season. 2 shots on target in the last 4 games coming up against a team that's just won 7 in 8. Time will tell I guess.

The final table prediction...top 6 or not?

We were top over 8 games as of Saturday. Leeds winning on Monday must have pushed us into second.

The final table prediction...top 6 or not?

The logic doesn't add up does it? We've been the best team in the league over the last 8 games and yet now with our best players back we suddenly revert to the form of a team in about 16th place.....

The final table prediction...top 6 or not?

Lucky we have a better squad, manager and no FAC distraction this year then otherwise I'd be worried about the relevance. Phew!

The final table prediction...top 6 or not?

We're good at 6 pointers. This run of 7 wins included 5 of them! Bristol C, Watford, Blackburn, QPR, Sheff W. Not to mention the other 2 wins which ended hoodoos stretching back to medieval times. Seriously - it's on.

The final table prediction...top 6 or not?

We don't need to though! To keep up our current form (7 in 8) would mean winning 13 of our last 15. We probably need to win 6.
