    Johnstone's Paint Trophy

I couldn't give a toss that this is a Micky Mopuse Cup. In terms of the enjoyment I would feel on the day, amongst a sea of 40,000 others in Sky Blue, half cut, face painted, belting out the sky blue song, I'm not even sure I'd notice the difference between this and 87 (and I was at Wembley in...

    Nuneaton game on saturday

I was born in Nuneaton, left when I was 4 and have never been back. Is it really as much of a dump as it sounds from this thread? :o

Yeovil tickets on sale now ..

Just sing anti-Weymouth songs in a funny farmer accent if you're in the home end and nobody will suspect a thing.

Yeovil tickets on sale now ..

Its just the fact that its the first game of the season. Unless we are towards the top of the table our away following will be 500-600 most Saturday games IMO.

Yeovil tickets on sale now ..

If you are a member you will probably be ok. If you're not you can't really complain if you miss out. Loads of us want tickets as much as you.

    Anyone going to Yeovil?

Who told you 1,200? I have been told by Yeovil season ticket holders that the away end holds between 1,800 and 2,100.

    Anyone going to Yeovil?

I'm pretty sure we will sell our allocation. First game of the season, withdrawal symptoms from football, early season optimism, new ground, expectation by many (not me) of 3 points. All points to us selling all our tickets.

    Anyone going to Yeovil?

I'm a member so I bloody better get one. Otherwise I'll be in the home end with the six-fingered inbred Somerset lot. :o

    New Kits

We had one in 95/96 and another one in 98/099. I have bought both shirts, always do as I'm a saddo, but think they are both horrible. THey look like the sort of shirt a non-league team would wear. But then I suppose we aren't that far away from that these days.

It is never necessary to use more than one exclamation mark. You also missed a full stop.

Im sure I have a 1987 seaon Signed football

Ok I lied, the sigs are much too faded for me to see. Can definitely make out Cyrille and I think David Phillips. That narrows it down to between 1986-1989. Sorry!

ANDY THORN - Another Bobby Gould ???

Ok; Liverpool 5-1 Villa 3-0 Arsenal (away) 3-0 Some of my happiest memories. Great days.

ANDY THORN - Another Bobby Gould ???

Without Bobby Gould the club would now be in its 129th year without a major trophy. If only we could unearth some more 'curses' - perhaps that's the key. :thinking about:

ANDY THORN - Another Bobby Gould ???

But the fact is he DID sign Oggy, Peake, Killer, Gynn, Bennett and Cyrille, who between them formed more than 50% of the side that went on to achieve what no other side before or since has ever got close to doing. Add to that the fact that the above players played over 2,000 games for the club...
