29.2K yesterday. Last year v West Brom (and cheaper prices) was 31.5K. Time will tell but I'm fully expecting 31K plus for Charlton.

    Atmosphere

They literally sang two songs. "Blue Army" and "Play up Pompey". Boring as fuck. And half the home end was empty by the time they scored their consolation.

I'm sure there are pockets of seats still to open up but as it stands there are only single seats available across the stadium for Charlton other than block 9. Pretty much guaranteed to sell-out with the ticket exchange open. 31.5K odd. Would have been the same yesterday if had been priced right.

Sort of agree although Swansea is pretty much already a sell-out and its over a month away. I hate the prices especially the kids but you can't argue that the Swansea game will bring in record gate receipts from home fans.

Match Thread Coventry City v WBA Sat 22nd November 25 12.30 KO

I'd be very worried if Bidwell ever starts a game again. Makes life so easy for his opponent. Just backs off and invites pressure. KKH over Bidwell every single day of the week.

    Championship Goals Record

Boils my piss too. Coventry fans referring to another club as City. 🤢

    For any remaining non-believers

If we have a shocker from here until the window opens, say 8 points from 8 games (relegation form) we'd have 45 points from 24 and quite possibly still be top 2!

Updated. Every team now needs a minimum of 2 ppg to reach 90 points other than us. Every team below Middlesbrough need to perform at the equivalent rate of a 97 point season. Good luck everyone! I'm not even convinced 90 will be the magic number with the league being so competitive. 53...

    EFL Panini stickers

£1 per pack of 5? So best part of £160 to complete if no duplicate. So realistically £300-odd to finish an album? Don’t tell my wife.

Morrisons in Weymouth have them. Might not be helpful for you.

We're in a very different era now. We've seen that the demand is there to sell out the stadium at sensible pricing levels. There was over 31K at the CBSA last season for this fixture. You seriously don't think this game sells out comfortably at Cat B prices?

It sells out no question whatsoever at Cat B. A 29K crowd would be around 5K paying (£45/£35) so say £40 = £200K A 31.5K crowd would be 7.5K paying (£32/£22) so say £27 = £202.5K Add in the additional F&B/Merch and Cat B would generate even more above what tomorrow will.. All marginal in...

Next 8 fixtures. Halfway stage, Id take this.

We've drawn 4 times as many games as we've lost. And won 2.5 times more than we've drawn. It would be more accurate to call us a 'win team'. :)

Really? There’s loads left in the north stand and about 20 have been sold in block 9.

Not a disaster by any means. But it clearly sells out at Cat B like Charlton will. Probably at Cat A as well as there wouldn’t have been any furore made by West Brom and they’d have sold their 2.8K. The pricing has definitely had an impact on sales.

It’s testament to our start that even if we lose 5 and win 3 we’d still probably be top 2. I’d be very happy with 14 from those 8.
