The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Pretty much a agree on all that. There won’t be no hard border. It will remain pretty much as it is now and they will get round it somehow. Could even be the wording changing.

TM and the conservatives not getting a majority at the last election has pidgeon holed herself and the DUP having as much power as they do for just 10 mps is holding the government to account for the leave vote. I fear if she did get the massive majority she wanted she would of gave the EU...

The DUP won’t let us leave in different areas. The leave vote will apply to the whole of the UK. Yesterday proves they won’t accept anything less. I happen to think that’s good news for the UK and within hours sturgeon was asking for special treatment in Scotland. It won’t work.

Sorry it’s utter denial, you can’t comprehend why you lost and are looking and scraping for anything other than your own fault just like Most the remainers I know. It had to be Russian medling or it’s not knowing what we voted for. Or we are thick and stupid as I’ve been called on here. I should...

I made a rushed error, the way you act it was if I voted for brexit! Hang on, you’re the same poster who is in denial about German politics and merkels situation at the moment. You deny the rise of far right and far left groups across the EU. You told every leave voter to be ashamed of...

Yes that’s about the size of it. It’s a stalemate at the moment.

Sorry I did mean UK. You knew what I meant I’m sure as all the know it alls came out and corrected me in typical fury and anger as normal. Genuine apologies again. I don’t think it doesn’t have to end in a hard border. I don’t think it will. The Uk government has said it won’t implement a hard...

No I don’t condone violence no. Yes it is a special case but it doesn’t take away the fact we voted as a country as you just agreed. We can’t have Northern Ireland in the SM and CU and rest of the UK out. In my opinion the DUP have rightly blocked it as it would open up doors for Scotland and...

Yes I agree but do you agree with the fact that we voted in a British referendum? We voted as a county yes? Sorry it’s just vital we establish this before we can continue a debate. Mart said no we didn’t. :banghead:

You don’t agree with the fact I gave? Shows you are beyond debate. I won’t bother carrying on. Shame. I will try with someone else.

I’m not disagreeing. Northern Ireland voted to remain. We voted as a country though not as regions. Agreed?

Sure about that? Less than half a million votes in difference. I thought leave won by 1.3 million votes was small? Percentage wise wasn’t that much more either. NI votes Remain in EU referendum

Yes again 50 times I’ve not met one leaver who wants a hard border in Ireland. It doesn’t have to happen. Northern Ireland hasn’t been massively affected by EU rules just like Scotland. That’s why they voted to remain. It wasn’t a big remain as some would like to make out though.

The irony isn’t lost on you I hope. I don’t want a hard border. Only said that 50 times. Do you understand yet?

Duo have done the right thing imo. They need to have the same deal as Britain. Fair play for sticking to their principals. Bigger question is surely TM knew they would reject it. They said they would. What the heck?

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

    1. True but at least we get to decide. That’s the point. 2. It will naturally become cheaper as if we can get food say fruit from Africa then of course it will be. Clothing is the same. If the EU allowed all these products no one would buy EU products hence why it is protectionist. That’s all...

You don’t get it I don’t think. 1. We pay more than the net figure each year and we don’t get to chose where to spend it so we now get to chose where to spend our gross money which is a big plus. Spend where it’s needed to suit our country. Good thing. 2. It’s a protectionist racket, it’s...
