Match Thread Coventry City v Sunderland match thread Saturday 29 Sep

So you would break up our centre back pairing. And put Willis at RB despite him saying that he prefers CB and he has also never shown any form playing as a RB. Also playing Davies who played in a team that conceded 3 to Arsenal u23's and 4 to Ipswich u23's. I like him but he hasn't exactly...

That was a particular circumstance. Not every game. Pretty stupid comparison really? Especially when you take into account Liverpool’s playing style

Why sadly? Grimmer and mason both been out injured so no other option. Willis and hyam have been out best players so far this season before Saturday...

    CWR

No it's not. It's a tram game. There isn't a chance for players to breathe and think in the middle of the match. They as a team need to learn from this. Doyle and the other senior heads can only do so much. This is a young team and they need to learn what to so in these situations. If we has...

    CWR

Look at the age of the team? Doyle kelly and brown were the only experienced heads in there. The rest are relatively inexperienced. They probably need to ‘get more streetwise’ and just learn how to slow things down recompose and not lump it. It’s all good saying he could have given a...

It’s too easy to blame the manager. It’s easy to say ‘why didn’t he tell them not to sit so deep’, he probably did. But when they are in the moment it’s up to the players motmto drop. They have to push up. They have to deal with the mistakes on the pitch

    Video Bristol R v Coventry

Agree with what has been said... first goal mistake is terrible but you need to bounce back. The second is in my opinion a worse goal. Nobody tracking the man and a free header. The first one is a slip, the second is just crap defending. Third one nobody closing and Burge weak wrists. I am a...

    Remember it’s a step up

Accrington were a better team than us last season. We were inconsistent last season. Same this season.

Block 15 and 16 Reopened for Sunderland

Well no because you pay for a seat, and you aren’t meant to stand in the stadium seems like a very sore point for you...

Block 15 and 16 Reopened for Sunderland

Well no that's not how it works... if someone pays for a SEAT then they expect to sit

Block 15 and 16 Reopened for Sunderland

It's all good saying that but when you have an old person behind you who can't stand, so you have to sit and then you have someone in front of you standing it's not really fair. Everyone sitting is the only fair thing. Personally prefer standing, which is why I much prefer away games but can...

    Hero to Zero

Same with McNulty, and Nazon probably hasn’t done any worse financially but in terms of career might not be the best move, that’s how I took the question anyway...

Westwood initially, failed at Sunderland but did okay after Sambou Joe Murphy (offered new deal left for Huddersfield, didn’t play)

    Willis and Burge .

Tbf to Burge, I have only seen him make 1 maybe 2 HOWLERS, this or last season? In his first season he made about 3 in the first couple games... He hasn’t saved some goals that he would be disappointed with but not many howlers compared to o’brien who makes one every 3 games

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Arsenal U21 Match Thread - Wednesday 12th Sep

No it should be fine... Andreu, Sterling, agogo are in top percentage of appearances so far... O’Brien is doesn’t count as a change... So I think only one of the other players have to start next match and it should be fine?

He’s been at oxford for years now and never really done much. He’s a very average player so I doubt it.

    JP heading out on loan

I seriously doubt he will be going out on loan now that Biamou is out for the season basically. Bakayoko I doubt will be in the team for a while. Would argue he is 2nd/3rd choice right now
