If we get one we will hammer them.

    U23 v Hull.

Thats because it's the u23's.... We have actually tended to do worse over the last couple seasons when it's been overinflated with '1st team' players. Yesterday was clearly a learning experience for the lads.

    No it wasn't young.

    Match Thread Sheffield Utd (a) - 12:30 - Sat 20th

I think his biggest issue is he's so argumentative with the ref. It doesn't exactly endear you to them if you gob off. His foul wasn't THAT bad, if he was a bit calmer he might not get booked so often. As you say it's far too often at the moment

I don't think it's up front that's the issue. It's the midfield that's gone to pot since Hamer went off. We are just giving the ball back to them.

There is clear contact. It's not a pen but there is contact

I think Maatsen brings far too much balance not to come straight back in. We are a non threat down the left at the moment as it's obvious Dabo is going to cut inside. In my view I would potentially drop Dabo at this rate.

    Ex Player Watch

Yeah there are some good players at that level for sure. Only have to look at the promoted teams of the last few years to show the step up isn't huge.

    January transfer window

He had two different injuries during the second half of last season. He pulled his hamstring in February early Feb which kept him out for 3/4 weeks. Then he was on the bench for 4 weeks. Then got injured end of March. The reality is staying up was more important than his development in any...

Stockport are fairly big spenders for the level. Similar to the likes of Adam Rooney and Paul Mulling dropping down for the money more than anything.

    January transfer window

We will have paid up some of that contract, he won't have left for nothing. Its also largely accepted he probably wasn't on huge money in the first place so it's hardly going to free up a tonne of cash.

    Championship 21/22

Just watching Quest, Bournemouth showing us how it's done against Swansea playing their highline. Tore it to shreds, admittedly they obviously have very good players but so many chances from simple balls down the channels.

<HIGHLIGHTS> Coventry City vs Bristol City

Walker is smiling when Godden scores. Too many firsts today.

Good appointment, surprised he's going there. Just seen Warnock was told at 10Am today he was being sacked. Seems to have been handled pretty poorly. (Said only Gibson gave support behind the scenes)

Agree 100%. I'm a big Maatsen fan, as you say young kid who panicked and made a s stupid mistake. He won't make it again I'm sure.

    Match Thread Bristol City (H) - 6th November 3PM

It was hardly a shit half, it was a stupid decision by a young player, other than that we were mediocre, it needed slight adjustments to make us more of a threat.

Seems odd timing. Not a bad result 1-1 away from home to WBA. I realise their form isn't great but just seems like they delayed a decision they had already made...

    Match Thread Bristol City (H) - 6th November 3PM

To be fair, people always ask for subs without considering the impact of the whole change or if it will even make an impact at all. It's not as simple as so many on here make it sound, but luckily Robins isn't a bedwetter like many on here. (That isn't to say Robins doesn't make mistakes with...
