    Deadline day Feb 2024

Interesting. Peterborough don't often sell young players with high potential cheap so I expect we could be paying a fairly substantial fee for us again here.

Match Thread Coventry City - Bristol City FC Match Thread - Tuesday 30th Jan

You have to admit you are one of the biggest bedwetters on here.... As poor as we have been, I'm not sure you can ever say this at 2-1 when we are at home and unbeaten in what 11?

Match Thread Coventry City - Bristol City FC Match Thread - Tuesday 30th Jan

He's a good player and has had decent games for us at CB and RB. He's not a CDM and is now suffering from his versatility as he isn't getting at CB or RB now other than rotation. Definitely somebody who lost out with the formation change.

Match Thread Coventry City - Bristol City FC Match Thread - Tuesday 30th Jan

Been a poor half. Lucky we are still in it. I have said it multiple times now lats is not a CM. I don't mind him as an emg, but to bring him on when we have two actual Cm's was overly conservative from Robins. He doesn't break the lines and goes hiding behind Bristol city players rather than...

    Cup draw

Slowerthanplatt already responded for me. Enough said really. I didnt say not reply but you are claiming everyone is having a hissy cause they disagree I'm not that's the case. One game doesn't make you championship class. You mentioned he didn't play for a number of years? I can't see that...

    Cup draw

Why the defensiveness when somebody (almost everybody) disagrees? Even then you said easily championship quality based on one game. If that's true why the second look?

    Cup draw

We are aiming for the premiership. We don't need to go for punts on 32 year olds with no league experience (based on one cup game). If you were saying as a reserve keeper, maybe? Even then i personally still it's nuts. A negative background isn't enough of a mitigation to warrant wasting our...

    FAC Quarter Finals

I agree. But they still both miss basic headers and get caught under the ball. It's poor defending.

    FAC Quarter Finals

Scott Dan and Ben turner has a shocker as well. Don't mind being out played but simple long balls caught them out time and again as seen in the YouTube clip!

    Cup draw

Do you know he had them? You are presuming something to make a point. Even with mental health issues, it doesn't then necessarily make him a better footballer without them. Brazil U23 means naff all. Nathan Cameron played for England U20's. He's also only 32 should we resign him? It's a...

    Cup draw

I agree with the first part of the message but the bottom paragraph is a load of Tosh. He is not championship level. Having one amazing game doesn't mean you are at the level. It was like when Crewe's second choice/keeper coach had the game of his life against is in the JPT semi years back...

Match Thread Sheffield Wednesday - Coventry City [FA] Match Thread - Friday 26th Jan

Midfield was poor second half. Lats is a good shield but he's so limited in that position and it should only be in emg not his fault tonight before anyone has a go. But we were just bypassing the midfield all second half and giving the ball back to them. Not ideal playing them for a 3rd time in...

Eccles? Was that his year must be forgetting that! Incredibly common injury in football given the types of movements involved.

    Transfer targets

This is a bit of a obvious statement all muscle injuries are often from muscle fatigue for elite sport. It's also by in large unavoidable. On the whole our injury list has been much better managed this season.

    Callum contract offer

Agreed. That was also a very quick turnaround from getting into post in December, to carry out all the due diligence on the signings we have made must have been a huge effort. Now it is settled I'm confident we can find a player of quality, but important to remember it won't be an O'Hare.
