    New Offside rules?

It's much easier to judge a level decision than an unclear daylight rule. With the current rule he is either ahead or not. With this a lino has to judge at speed on the move how much of the body is ahead. Far more subjective like I said. This was cause far more issues lower down. It will work...

    New Offside rules?

How does it make it easier for linesman? This is going to be far harder judge and adds a whole new level of subjectivity when we don't have technology in the lower leagues.

    Formations Next Season

Have two people really asked why somebody is trying to discuss football on the forum? Gonna be a long fucking 2/3 months if people don't want to discuss such things. Robins will be recruiting to the formation he wants to play, not the other way around. It may change should things fail, but he...

    Mason-Clark

He's a good player, I haven't said I don't rate him. But he's had an injury hit year, and since Carrick came in he's not actually been first choice. He will expect a big wage, and he's not what will take the club forward for me. I think experience is needed but not sure the cost compared to...

    Thorns signings

I remember one decent game under Slade - the 1-1 Draw at P'Boro maybe his second game? We actually played pretty well (or at least better than we had done that year!) it soon went down hill.

Are we lacking at RB or can we just improve? Burroughs and Lati can and do play there. CB I don't see two coming in unless one goes. Would prefer a better option than McNair or Binks if we are looking to improve the starting 11 too.

    Summer transfer window 2024

If we get McCallum/Browne in soonish, plus a keeper, you would think that is out starting 11 sorted already for the start of pre-season. We are then looking to add quality in depth. Or improve on players that have proven they can mix it with the best. New Keeper Milan-Thomas-Kitching (Next...

    Summer transfer window 2024

McNair has had a bad year for injuries and a big wage. Would be a gamble but a good player nonetheless. Think there could be better long term options out there.

    New number one needed

I don't disagree we need to get a good keeper. But I do think the Ferguson quote only applies to a top level team. At this level, every keeper has errors in them. The Rotherham keeper had a shocker at the CBS. It is probably the one area of the pitch you can afford to not invest heavily in and...

    Championship thread 23/24

Jesus Christ I had not seen the prices of season tickets there before. That is extortionate.

What a solution. A loan, it's hardly a fix for the position is it.

    Summer transfer window 2024

He's played 3 games all season. From what my Bournemouth supporting mate has said it's a case of giving some of the squad minutes now they are safe. He's not first choice.

    Summer transfer window 2024

Not a bad shout, will cost a bit though. Not a lot of great options out there for keepers. Could take a punt on a young one from league one and hope they develop. The likes of Tickle at Wigan maybe. Another potential option is Travers at Bournemouth if he's available, did okay for them in...

    New number one needed

I'm not sure the keepers get worse when they come here. As I have said multiple times on here, there really is just a lack of quality keepers around at the moment. Evidenced by the keepers at the top clubs at the moment. David Raya is not a fantastic keeper, neither of Chelsea's keepers are...

Match Thread Coventry City - Queens Park Rangers Match Thread - Saturday 4th May

We already did this last year, and it hasn't really worked. He's been great for the club but best for both to move on. We can find experienced players that can actually play week in week out.
