There was another video which started with a Tommy English goal in the early 80s (before my time) and then showed pretty much every goal of the 88/89 - 90/91 seasons. Was that the 101 'greatest goals' one?... Can't find my thoughts on Amazon about that one though.

That 101 greatest goals was less a compilation of our '101 greatest goals' and more a compilation of 101 goals that they were able to secure the rights to show. I swear to god there is a penalty on it. It has Micky Quinn on the cover.

It was definitely reported as 4K at the time. They’d won promotion the year before so there was high demand from their fans.

I thought each episode was exceptional, and each different in tone. It wouldn't have had the same brooding intensity squished into two episodes for me. The one take camera technique added to the intimacy of it all and the casting/acting was exceptional.
