Disappointing, but still in our hands

Burton can afford to lose 4 games and Walsall 3 before we can even catch them that is the point I am making at the same time we need to win ours. It is a big ask but I hope we do.☺

    The pitch

How much did they spend on their ground then and don't they have our old groundsman?

Disappointing, but still in our hands

But they have the points and games in hand to be able to lose a couple of games without it affecting the top of the table.

Not arguing that he made some good saves just pointing out so did Burge but he was slaughtered on here when he dropped a couple of catches? And as they say the back 4 feed off the goalkeeper the more they trust him the better they normally play.

Exactly but we need to turn or draws into wins.

Disappointing, but still in our hands

Thing is nether Burton or Walsall look like losing and if they win their games in hand they will be 12 and 9 points clear of us so Draws for us are now looking more like losses. We really needed to win both of those games to give them a knock and us a boost.

But it is OK to lump Burge with the others? Cook never caught one corner or cross yesterday and that is supposed to be his strong point seemed scared to come off his line and attack the ball like a proper goalkeeper. His has a mare last few games maybe needs a rest from the first team.

    The pitch

Maybe the wettest December in a long time had something to do with it? Especially as it is newly laid so maybe the soil underneath is not bedded down properly.? Not a groundsmen so wouldn't really know.

I bet you blame him for today's result, funny how we haven't lost while he was playing. And yet you talk of obsession.

Utter shite both teams play on it, we on the other hand will play on it regularly so should really get used to it.

Agree JOB was a better option and should have played. TM also commented on how we kept passing the ball backwards when we should have been pushing forwards?
