I don’t think Rodrigues deserves a chance just because he’s young. He was always a gamble given where he was coming from, probably just isn’t even at Paterson’s level at the moment so no point him getting in the squad. He still has barely played any meaningful minutes for the club.

My point was that it's still possible for people on lower points totals to gain points right now, that might not be the case at all in the prem as I imagine most games would sell out well before 1200 points.

The points system only takes into account the previous 3 years + the current one. Birmingham/covid etc are irrelevant. A ST holder who goes to home games, cup games and the odd away game will only be around 1000 points

I get your point, but then it will be too late If/when we do get there I imagine demand for away tickets will be huge so unless you have the points built up beforehand you won't stand a chance
