Can't see RL taking off around here. Rugby union has an average of 13,000 while RL is about 9,500. How many would they expect to get at a game maybe 1 or 2000?

Exactly you said it, a sizable commitment. If our owners had put a sizable commitment into our club we would not now be having this debate. We would be asking "how many more could we expect next season".
