I hope this doesn't come across the wrong way in text, but I'd recommend that if you can then get another dog. I got through losing my 20 month old boy purely because we had our girl at the same time. She really helped me with the grief, especially as it was sudden/unexpected too.

Exactly how I feel atm, I've effectively been manager of where I am for the last 6 months or more without the pay or a pay rise. Everyone around me and customers recognise it, but not the head office which is 40 miles away. Always doing the numbers though 🙄🤦‍♂️

I've only had 1 "promotion" in my life despite always trying to work as hard as possible and 9/10 times excelling in my role.

Working hard and giving 100% every day at work to be no further ahead at life/better off than if I gave zero fucks.
