Someone suggested looking at Luke Garbutt as he’s out of contract at Everton this summer. Plays LB and LW, I would assume he’d suit playing at wing back but would also give you the flexibility to change formation as you say.

Sounds reasonable but what type of player is he? Where would he fit into the system?

I ran 0.14 miles in 7 minutes the other day according to my phone GPS. Strange as every other day I’ve run it it’s clocked at just under a mile (0.94 to be precise).

I do like Max but I think the time has come for him to move on (or accept being third choice). Could do with a younger striker coming in to give us a bit of a succession plan. Godden’s decent but ideally I think he’d be our back up striker in the Championship.

Comical that you’d decide to drive to a local tourist attraction to test your driving rather than doing laps of your family’s 6-mile estate. And absolutely standard that those who feel they might not be safe to drive would have a 4 year old kid in the car.
