Expect a rush over the weekend as people start to panic buy. There will definitely be 26k+ sold by tomorrow evening. I reckon the game will be sold out by Monday night. Gonna be noisy on 5th. Pusb.

It was, but presumed Jassie was talking about that one because there was only 15K at the game last year.

There was actually 28K at that game but 6K of that were Leeds fans meaning only 22K Cov. There is the potential for 30K City fans to be at this one. The atmosphere will be significantly better than at the Leeds match. As long as we don't go a goal down...

Betfair: "In truth, [Preston] have been dreadful at Deepdale this season"

We beat them in league cup in 00/01 didn't we? 3-1? Gavin Strachan penalty? I have tried to erase that season from my memory.

Now 18,117 sold. Hopefully the recent additions were purchased with my stinging criticism ringing in their ears.

Good shout. Crowd of 23400. I can't comment on Colchester numbers but if what you say is true there were still less than 23k city fans. Reckon that would be the third highest city fans showing at the Ricoh. Any others?

Nah, they all brought about 6k fans out of 27-28k attendances. Only v chelsea when it sold out and v mboro when they only brought about 2k fans have we had much more than 22k city fans.

I can only think of two occassions where there have been many more than 22k City fans at a game at the ricoh - mboro and chelsea in the fac. This game will definitely see that figure beaten.
