The Butts - CRFC Confirms it is willing to join mediation talks

Probably? With the Council people like you cheering them on it would be a dead cert.

And a lot of people on this thread would change their minds and say what a great idea it is.

The Butts - CRFC Confirms it is willing to join mediation talks

Maybe it won't, but Richardson has admitted that preliminary talks have taken place so I for one like to believe it will happen or at lwast has a chance to. After all staying at the Ricoh certainly isn't going to help CCFC.

The Butts - CRFC Confirms it is willing to join mediation talks

Wouldn't worry. The experts on here have already said it will never happen anyway.

The Butts - CRFC Confirms it is willing to join mediation talks

Exactly, which is why I am disappointed though not surprised at Moz Bakers attitude.

The Butts - CRFC Confirms it is willing to join mediation talks

Annoying that Moz Baker - and therefore the Trust I presume - are already sending out negative messages about a possible groundshare. We need positivity, particularly from the main fan group. They should be talking it up, not down.

The Butts - CRFC Confirms it is willing to join mediation talks

We can confirm preliminary discussions have taken place with both “CCFC” and the EFL on the possibility of the football club playing at BPA as tenants of CRL (Coventry Rugby Limited). “There are several issues that would have to be resolved but we do not rule out that a solution could be found...

The Butts - CRFC Confirms it is willing to join mediation talks

Similar to those NIMBYs in Stoneleigh and Baginton who buggered up Thomsonfly. The airport was there when they moved in and the stadium was there when they moved into their retirement flats. Get over it I would say.

The Butts - CRFC Confirms it is willing to join mediation talks

Ah this old chesnut. Having a stadium owned by the current owners or whatever is preferable to not owning one at all and renting from someone who has zero interest in the club. Also there would be something tangible for potential new owners to be attracted by. Manchester United no longer own...

The Butts - CRFC Confirms it is willing to join mediation talks

Yep that's how I feel too. Let's just get on with it rather than saying it can't work because.... I know before too long we will be arguing about capacity and that it needa to be X amount. Again, it doesn't matter at the moment.

    Anyone recall this game ?

No, I don't either. I had an ST so presume I would've gone.

    Mediation talks underway

And it is patently obvious that the Council don't either. What's your point? That it is SISU 100% to blame?

    Mediation talks underway

I've supported the club for decades. So what? There's support and there's support. We needed more than them turning up every other week to watch a football match. And don't ruin it for yourself by saying there are Fisher and Seppalla fans, there are not. I'm sure you are older than 12.

    Mediation talks underway

Ah, but we don't mention that. Just the stuff SISU did. We will soon seen the phrases "no choice", "backed into a corner", "what else were they supposed to do?", etc etc.

    Mediation talks underway

And before SISU arrived on the scene the previous board tried to renegotiate the rent three months after we moved in and were told "no". Go figure.

    Mediation talks underway

Oh yes, a day out at Wembley will stir them up, but after the final whistle? And I'm talking about the people of Coventry, not the football fan or the casual football fan, but the other 300K.

    Another Gilbert tease.

I am going to defend the CT for once. There's a very interesting article on the website. "Five things we've learnt from the MK Dons defeat..." I like the new angle. Way to go, CT.
