New stadium land deal to be announced next month

You find this odd? Would most people earning a (relatively speaking) huge salary choose to live in a miserable city when they can live somewhere nicer and more affluent in the surrounding area? In short, no. And I dont blame them.

    The Ricoh is available instead

I know! Somebody posted that the last time we had a home game postponed was in 1997. It wasn't, it was 2002.

    The Ricoh is available instead

I certainly felt my ST was money well spent that year, travelling all those miles to watch Laurent Delorge working his magic down the right flank, big Lee Mills in the middle alongside that (not yet) murderer, Jario Martinez dazzling us all with his rare substitute appearances. Then the wonder...

    The Ricoh is available instead

I'm sure that's wrong. Didn't a game get called off in our first season down from the Premier League around New Years Day? I definitely had to turn round and head home on my way to a game around that time. I remember distinctly being on the M3/A34 turn off at the time!

So what ARE we going to do...

You really need to let the Dublin thing go, it was 14 years ago.

Connor thomas to sheff utd. (rumour)

I know which club I'd rather play for if I had no emotional attachment. And it's not the one that plays in front of 2,000 people in a cow shed stadium miles from its proper home, and one that could be liquidated/put into admin at any moment.

He Wasn't Even Born When His Dad Won The Cup

Jonathan only got a game because of his dad. Awful keeper. Ended up playing in NZ. Says it all.

He Wasn't Even Born When His Dad Won The Cup

Peter didn't play for us. He was just on our books. The only other father/son combo were back in the 50s (or something similar) but can't remember their names. Unless the stat I saw was father/son combos who had scored for the club - eg Phillips', Hateley's and the one I can't remember.

is anyone having a bet on the match on friday?

Golden rule. Bet with your head NOT your heart.

is anyone having a bet on the match on friday?

I've bet £90 on Arsenal and I will be utterly delighted to lose the money. However, in reality I will win £11 which will cover my first 4 pints in the pub watching the game.

    Nice gesture by the club.

They always sell off away shirts for a tenner after the christmas before they bring out a new shirt.

    WHY/WHEN signs for Arsenal

This is actually important otherwise it won't be as effective. Wasn't this raised as a concern last week?

    Aresnal fans supporting Coventry!

To be fair that is almost certainly from a pimply 14 year old so I wouldn't read much into it.

I've Not Heard of Keith Houchen - Moussa

I am surprised given that winning the FAC is the club's only real achievement and is talked about by fans every day, even now. Houchen's goal is also possibly the most famous goal ever scored in a cup final (along with Villa's). He must be walking around with his ears and eyes closed not to...
