    Big sky blue news tomorrow

I also don't believe you'd say "an agreement has been made", then say " it needs to be checked over by the legal teams". If it hasn't been written down and checked by the legal teams it's not been agreed at all.

    Big sky blue news tomorrow

Indeed it must have. Just doubt the reason for it would be to prevent SISU pulling out, or even vice-versa. If anything it's more likely to scupper the agreement...

    Big sky blue news tomorrow

Doubt it. Leaking info would be more likely to see the animosity and bad blood return and someone pulling out of the deal. Even if it was said SISU pulled out, SISU would deny it and blame it on Wasps and then it's the usual 'he said, she said' and people believing whichever side they want to.

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

I agree and it can act as an adjuster. If there are loads of loans remaining unpiad it shows that the education sector isn't providing the skills and employment it's supposed to help towards. This leads to questions being asked as to the validity of some of the courses on offer and how students...

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

Probably the same stuff as those that gave free HE and grants to students at a time when it was largely the preserve of the wealthy and priviliged. Oh, and they could sign on as unemployed too. HE needed to be opened up to a broader range of people and that wasn't going to be affordable, but at...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

If you read later on I mention the point of the stock market and potential effects, including on pensions. Also worth noting any effects would be due to investors trying to avoid the 'corp dividend tax' and I mention putting a similar thing into things like interest, venture capital etc to...

    Rangers

He's playing against poor teams in a poor league for a team that has only one real competitor and they've been shit this year. Put him in a more competitive situation and see how he does...

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

Let's be honest, when we saw them all clapping for the NHS many on here said when push comes to shove and it's pay increase time most will argue against giving them much and so it's proved. So I say lets reduce MP pay to average pay for the UK and top it up by clapping them on the doorstep once...

    Max Biamou

When I saw him on the touchline I was thinking 'please be to play WIth Biamou not as a replacement' because you just wouldn't have trusted him to put in the effort to stop the ball coming back at us. He'd have been useful to spring a counter attack as Derby would've been more aware of his...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Now I know from experience there are still people out there who would try and find a loophole around this so they can get more, so it'd need more work on looking for them. For example, it'd have to make sure it included all types of shares including preference shares etc and things like share...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Then other benefits started to become apparent: 1. Simplifies the system. Currently the system requires profits to be worked out, and then those profits are amended via Sch D computations to come up with taxable profit which can be entirely different to the P/L profit (but still based on some...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I've mentioned this before and as it's now a hot topic in general and being discussed elsewhere due to the planned rises in coming years, here's my outline proposal for corp tax. If you get through it fair play to you. I know it's a radical departure from current thinking and some (one on here...

Next season squad if we stay up...

He hasn't been 'written off' by most people at all - they've just questioned what he adds to the team if he's not scoring. Thus far the answer is little. He's a player that will get marked 7-8 if he scores but 4-5 if he doesn't. It's pretty much all he has in his armoury. Everyone here has...

Yep. If he could be relied upon to do that regularly could reduce the requirement to bring in the extra centre back.

    All purpose cricket thread

One thing I'd love to see in a limited overs comp is the requirement for every fielding player (poss less the WK) having to bowl. In cricket you often see ex-batsmen talk about how crap bowlers are at batting, so let's see them have to have a go at bowling. In a short format it be an...

Player of the season as of today

I went for Kelly because he seems to have had the biggest difference overall on results. We've missed him when he's been out. Bit harsh on O'Hare who deserves recognition so I'll give him young player of the season
