Aren't the views basically identical, apart from one facing directly into the sun?

I read it that when certain shutters are down, it means they have to limit the number of people according to the toilets available in that restricted area. But if it's right that Block 13 is accessed from the East Stand concourse (I don't know for sure), that block can't cause a problem like...

Just before the brick wall you mean? Yeah, if so that makes the reasoning about overflowing toilets (💩) etc. hard to understand. I'm increasingly leaning towards someone else's suggestion that SAG members have Triskaidekaphobia. Easily solved by renumbering Block 13 to Block 12a.

I thought you said a couple of days ago you got straight in and bought your tickets with no problems, and people were basically fussing about nothing. Apologies if that wasn't you.

Haven’t got time to go though 66 pages again. Numerous *different* ways – people being wrongly excluded from the ticketing website because they are a bot; allowed into the purchase area then sat watching a circle go around until long after the tickets had all gone; getting a baffling variety of...

Apart from the multiple cock-ups with ticketing. We are talking dozens of different ways the club (and/or Ticketmaster) have found to put supporters through bad experiences.

Sounds very plausible. Ticketmaster look after huge numbers of big events, and if their software was that bad, there would be constant meltdown. More likely duff configuration for this event.

But how does keeping block 13 (between two lots of City fans inside the stadium) help with that problem?

That's the point, it hasn't been explained and it needs to be.

The question this week is why it's necessary to segregate City fans from other City fans by opening 11 & 12 but keeping 13 closed. Instead of an official explanation we have an information vacuum, but it's hard to see what the decision has got to do with past trouble between home and away fans.

I'm not trying to justify it, just making my best guess as to why SAG are effectively insisting on segregating City fans from other City fans. I agree with you, it's silly and unnecessary.

I've said it before but I really don't think their concern is to separate 14 from the away fans. They are miles apart anyway. I suspect they have a paranoid desire to keep boisterous 14 away from the (occasional, perhaps naive?) home fans they are now allowing into 11 and 12. That would also...

It's clear that they've enticed people to buy hospitality when they would have waited for normal seats if they'd known that large numbers would be released today. The club knew, the fans didn't. I dare say you're right that it wasn't a cynical ploy, but that's been one of the many effects of the...
