    Documentary Thread

The Adam Curtis documentaries are brilliant. I can highly recommend Bitter Lake and Hypernormalisation. There's a good one about capping the Chernobyl reactor too. Oh, and a great one on Russia's cosmonauts and how they won the space race.

    General Election

It wasn't to me. I voted remain. However I would be amazed if everyone who voted to leave seriously thought the NHS would get that £350M for example but I bet some actually did and voted accordingly. A binary yes/no was never a good idea.

And one of the reasons I changed my mind on Corbyn. His.campaign was positive and focused on the issues. Meanwhile the Tories used the recent terrorist attacks for political gain, particularly over JCs reluctance to insinerate millions of.people.

Would you have voted Tory if you thought they would have been propped up by an anti-gay, creationist anti birth choice party. Oh wait....

    General Election

Well what a wonderful night that was. So pleased May has fucked it up for herself and the fucking Tories. And as one of only two Midlands seats that voted remain I'm ecstatic that Warwick and Leamington has gone back to Labour. Brilliant.

Yes, he was great that day. Remember all the "sign him up, sign him up, sign him up" chants?

    Lamieras signs for Plymouth

To be honest I don't think we could say L2 isn't for him until we'd actually seen him play in L2. I liked him, thought he deserved another year.

I gave you names. Starmer, Cooper, Smith, Lewis are all good politicians and would do a fine job in Government.
