    New badges on the scoreboard

Yeah, it looked like the cov uni logo to me. That's what I thought whn I saw them anyway - apart from one which did look a little like the barclays logo!

    Huddersfield sack Lee Clark

Nah, he's going to Leeds, surely. I've noticed Huddersfield supporters are very arrogant, too arrogant for a team who haven't been in the top 2 divisions for over 10 years.

    Neil Warnock to Leeds?

I find this a strange one, he's a blade through and through and I'm absolutely certain I've been told Leeds fans hate him! Could be another Cloughy for them!

    Waggot.......Why ??

That is literally like me saying if I had ovary's and a vagina I'd be female

    Waggot.......Why ??

How pointless. Waggott was brought in to help Thorn deal with incoming and outgoing players. We've had 3 incoming players and 3 outgoing (2 of which were fringe players), so it's been a fairly productive window relative to the previous couple. And I'm pretty sure Thorn doesn't get involved with...

Oliver Norwood to come on loan

I'm on planet earth thanks. How (on earth) has tonights result consigned us to relegation? Are we relegated, is there an "R" next to our name in the league table? Nope, I don't see one. If you read my post properly you'll see that I've put nobody EXPECTED anything from last nights result -...

Oliver Norwood to come on loan

Well, it's not complete confirmation but it's on sky sports that they believe we've signed him: http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11710/7469202/

    Thorn Says

Well, the comments about the game and Saturday are pretty much the way I look at it too.

Oliver Norwood to come on loan

Rich, I didn't say it wasn't on the cheap, I said don't write him off before he's kicked a ball. Difference. And ccfcway, you're thinking about during the game. Yes, it would have been a huge result and taken off a lot of pressure. But I was saying BEFORE the game nobody expected anything. So...

Oliver Norwood to come on loan

Tonight's result means nothing. It's gutting but not many, if any, expected anything from that game. We have to pick ourselves up and prepare for Saturday and NOT write anyone off before they get here with petulant comments.

    BFC v CCFC

I feel absolutely sick. Completely gutted.

The clock is ticking transfer window countdown thread

I reckon people mean pace, but associate the position with the trait? Which I agree with, we need a bit more pace, but Nimely's a good start!

    people seem to forget...

True, but getting loans in this window can guarantee that player till the end of the season. The loan window cannot guarantee that.

The clock is ticking transfer window countdown thread

Ah, interesting. Fulham are apparently after that Russian striker, Pobgrenyak (or something like that?!) and also Odemwengie, which would push him down again. But if Rangers are serious about getting him (I can't see them gtting Grant Holt!) then I don't think we'll have a chance. By the way, if...

The clock is ticking transfer window countdown thread

I actually don't think we'll see any movement in or out of City, but I don't see why we couldn't get one of those players on loan on cut price wages when his parent club would be paying the rest.

The clock is ticking transfer window countdown thread

Looks like QPR are signing Djibril Cisse and maybe Bobby Zamora (wouldn't be surprised with that one as he obviously doesn't like Jol and got on well with Hughes). This would surely mean Hulse is out of contention at QPR. And Fulham are on the verge of signing a Russian striker which would send...

    Milwall in for Andy Keogh

I never got it with this guy how he had so many admirers? He's a striker that doesn't score, we have enough of them, so good luck to Millwall.

I've said in previous post I'd like if he stayed, he's a good player who hasn't had the best of seasons (but by no means a disaster) and we could do with all our experienced players helping. If he did go though, Thomas can do that job and is, potentially, a better player.
