    Bidwell's been booked, so him.

Yep. Getting rid of the deadwood is one thing, but if you then leave a bare bones squad going into a run of two games a week don't be surprised if the team look leggy and tired.

Might improve in his more natural position. Plus Bidwell booked.

We should be losing this by a country mile, yet go in at 1-1. Very, very lucky. Hopefully momentum shift second half. Hope it doesn't make MR complacent. If the performance hasn't vastly improved within 10 mins of start of the second half subs need to be made. Maaysen to LWB, Allen on for...

That was lucky. Shows why you should take a punt and shoot.

Team looks good, but they are going to be really knackered soon with the number of games we're playing if we keep on putting out the same team and not making full use of subs. if we can get the first goal I think we'll win, but also reckon we'll be struggling with about 10mins to go.

I did put 30 minutes each half. As for time wasting, I'd probably include goal kicks, throw ins, corners, free kicks etc as the ball not being in play. Keepers holding the ball of course wouldn't, but the rule for holding onto the ball would have to be more strictly enforced.

Never quite understood why anyone would vote for Tories based on spending plans given their modus operandi is cuts so they can lower taxes.

As I've also said before (but didn't this time), game becomes two halves of 30 minutes.

The saying is 'look after the pennies and the pounds will take care of themselves' Unfortunately this government is 'look after the pounds and leave the pennies to fend for themselves'

Uncertainty too. Chances are with our budget we'd be having to take a bit of a chance on someone and you can never be sure how that's going to go. It was that which ultimately led to our PL relegation. Eventually we got one wrong with Bellamy and we were stuffed.

It does feel like a missed opportunity, considering we signed Bright instead. The we'd probably have had Shipley, Allen and Jones leave in the summer to free up wages for a single decent replacement for them all.

Said it many times before and will keep on saying it. Time keeping official and stopping the clock while the ball is out of play. Only solution that is ever going to work.

    Refereeing

This is the problem. We have pundits saying how the laws aren't followed properly, how bad it is that players surround refs etc., then when a ref actually upholds the law they're castigated for being harsh or over-zealous and card happy. If these people actually want the game to improve in...

I reckon he took the punt on that as he was getting booked for the first offence he could probably get away with a second foul without getting a yellow for it as long as it wasn't horrendous. He was wrong. Correct decision.

"The Animal Welfare (Sentencing) Act 2021 increases the maximum sentencing under the Animal Welfare Act 2006 from six months to five years for cruelty and fighting offences." So, yes, with a criminal conviction and being in prison people do lose their income.
