5 points off the playoffs, your views??

This is a site for Sky Blues fans. Are you really expecting anyone to be anything other than glad that we are going up the table?

    March 2013

Look at our fixtures. Could make all the difference - giving the players something to fight for with the rather unpleasant April. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/teams/coventry-city/fixtures

    Bailey loan not sorted

Indeed. Footballers' comments on clubs stretch all the way from bland & non-commital to non-commital & bland. This is about as strongly positive about a club you will ever hear - no mention about how he'd still love to go back to Derby for instance. McGoaldrought went for exactly the opposite...

Apart from McG, any news on the other loan signings?

Ha! Reminds me of Withnail: "How dare you call me inhumane!"

Apart from McG, any news on the other loan signings?

The thing with realism is that it uses all the information available at that time. Using information not yet available is either optimism or pessimism.

    Leon Clarke joins on loan??

Nice idea BoltonSkyBlue. But aim to lose those games against Sphinx too - cannot forget the bottom line,

    Leon Clarke joins on loan??

That's madness. Only a fool would try and get back to the Championship when relegation is such a great idea. Why not repeat the trick and get even lower wages, higher attendance etc.?

Will we go more direct with Leon

All of the above. We will also see a lot more action on the right wing - playing up to 5 of the side it that area to really attack the left back.

    Question for PWKH

The average cost for L1 clubs is not relevant - you pay rent according to the quality of the accommodation.

    Service is a joke

Are they really sold out? Oh bugger. I was half way through my formal letter of application for tickets when my quill broke. I hot-footed it into town on the stagecoach to see my penturner and have just returned. It makes me so cross that people can just turn up at the door without a formal...

    Could the Ricoh be expanded?

I was wondering... if the ground started to get some atmosphere and felt less like a tomb celebrating the folly of previous board members, would it be possible to extract some of that atmosphere? Ideally the crowd should rattle around in the stands and tumbleweed should blow across the pitch.

    We all bicker.

I bet you couldn't. I bet you'd so fed up listening to them after an hour or so that you'd give up.

    Robins new striker search

Don't you think that has already happened? This will not be a factor. What will be a factor is our league position in January. We could be in the top 6 by then and the form team. This will influence both McGoaldrought and SISU.

    'I owe Coventry City' DC

Most players nowadays are well-trained in speaking in generally positive platitudes about every club they play for throughout their careers. It means nowt. He has a very short career and may not be good at anything else in particular. He will sign for the club that pays the most - this is...

CET: The deal turned down by sisu revealed

I can see it now. First they argue the rent down to rock bottom rates. Then they offer a derisory sum for the stadium "based upon income" - which of course they drove down themselves. Taxpayers must not line SISU's pockets. I'd rather see the club go bust.
