The Barnsley fan view on Kitchin seemed to be that he could move forward and lead but couldn’t defend very well…

I’m not convinced Robins knows who to play or what to do. I guess you can’t polish a turd. But it’s his turd. At least put your best players on the pitch when you can Sakamoto, Binks, MVE, COH. And keep your worst off, Ayari.

Ayari being picked for a tough away game at Preston seems completely mad. I fear for him tbh. Lamb to the slaughter. Hope he proves me wrong. Shame Sakamoto can’t get a proper run in the team. So much chopping and changing.

Will probably start Wright, Sakamoto and Allen again as the attacking line up. The problem being there's not many goals there (Allen hasn't scored for over a year and Sakamoto for 2 1/2 years). Guess COH will get the second half... Here's hoping.

Let’s not forget that the starting attacking lineup last night was basically Wright, Sakamoto and Allen. It’s not gonna scare anyone to death is it?

I mean we are 20th, recently lost to Rotheram and drew at home against Huddersfield. Goal shy, frequent errors at the back, unsettled and unconfident.

He could have kept the Vic and Gus money, he didn't he gave Robins a healthy wedge. Agreed he hasn't put any of his own money in.

You've got to be a bit sorry for Doug. Showed trust, made good money available and its gone a bit stinky. Mind you he's probably still £10m up at the moment... He must be thinking hard about the January spend.

A bit of a 7 : 2 : 1 formation. Doubt we’ll score with that lineup but who knows, it’s all a bit of a rolling selection shambles.

    I trust Mark Robins

cockjock does taktics #2 4 4 2, overlapping wingbacks, pressing up tight, dropping in the hole.
