Hope so. I turn 40 in mid-late June and the wife turns 30 in mid July so we were planning a large party end of June. Reckon if the restrictions are lifted by then, we can have a brilliant celebration!!

Agree with what you've said there. I think ze Germans take some credit though. Their numbers are decent - if that's a term that can be used in such a scenario. I know it's all down to medical provisions and testing etc. but still.

Good post and was about to post the BBC article myself as I've just read it. I just can't see why the Govt would turn down the chance to increase ventilator stock...it's non-sensical so there's got to be rational reasons for doing so (if true in the first place which I am sceptical about). And...

Yeah saw this. It's why it's important to look at the number of new cases each day as well as the death rate. The death rate will continue to rise over the next week or two as that lags behind due to the time it takes Coronavirus to take hold in those affected. Couple of points of note though...

Thanks. I found out today I'm furloughed for 3 months on 80% wages. This I can deal with. But about 11 months ago, I took a 12 month mat cover which ends mid May. I'm therefore not sure what happens mid May? If theres no financial liability for my company (ie it's a grant and the govt pay it)...
